Well, I'm glad my DVR is smarter than the search function on my cable device. I looked and there wasn't an episode listed. Just checked and it's on my DVR. Watching it right now I was glad it automatically recorded for me too! I enjoyed it. I like hearing from them, generally the successful couples are my favorites to catch up on, but I really liked Sam's segment this time. I really do believe that being on MAFS changed her for the better. She was cringing when they were showing her being so hateful to her husband. I loved how she said being married to him was the best thing that ever happened to her. He was also very sweet in his video to her. I liked seeing Courtney too. She was a favorite. I wish she and Jason could have worked it out, but I'm glad they both seem to be doing well now.

Yes I wish they would have shown 5he other half of the couple when up dated ones not there.
Loved seeing all the babies, so cute.
Too much information from Jamie and Beth. Still surprised there together.
I love Ashley and Anthony. I thought she was already pregnant with the dress she was wearing . Interesting he sleep in another room for months after.
Not much you can learn about Doug and Jamie , see them all the time.
Amber and Matt....still married but not. I don’t know why he is dragging his feet. What was that stringy hair and turtle neck he looked awful.
Was nice to see Neil again he got the wrong wife too been awhile don’t remember his roommate? Sam is married glad she changed and has a nice life now.
Scary what Danielle went though. I thought she really aged , Bobby looks like a kid beside her. Was surprised that he spends more than her when she had maxed out credit cards. She is a stay at home mom too , babies can change your mind .
Bring on the new ones.
Oh forgot we get some of the couples in Quarantine May 20th Couples Cam.

I started watching this show the tail end of the Chicago season with Ashley and Anthony. I think Danielle and Cody were on that season, too, as well as the African-American couple whose husband turned out to be a cheater. So, I didn't recognize a lot of the folks who appeared during the commercial breaks to give updates. Elizabeth seems to have calmed down and hopefully she and Jamie can make a go of it but I was really shocked to see that they have lasted this long. I felt badly for Danielle and her harrowing birth experience with the preeclampsia; I'm happy she and the baby made it through without complications but I still don't like her. LOL Jephte...ugh! I don't like him, never have. I don't care if they were 'apart' when he cheated on her b/c they were still legally married and for goodness sake, she was pregnant with his child! He couldn't keep it in his pants for a few months? No way I would have taken him back. Plus, during the show he made a comment that made me think he doesn't have much use or respect for women. I wish to heck I could remember what it was but when he said it (and it was an off-handed remark), I thought to myself, hmmm. I knew there was a reason I didn't like him. Had no idea Jamie never knew her father or not even his identity. I knew her mom had drug problems and Jamie has half-siblings but for her own mom not to even know who the father of her child is, is pretty bad. I did feel sorry for Jamie in that instance and wished she had been able to connect with her dad before he passed. The cynic in me is wondering if he knew he fathered a child or not, because if he did know he had a child out there and didn't accept responsibility, then he's pretty scummy as well and not worthy of all the accolades Jamie was heaping upon him. One last thing...can't these women wear more appropriate clothing? Elizabeth, Jamie and Shawniece looked like hoochy mamas, imo. Only Ashley was dressed appropriately imho.
ETA: Just saw nicksmom's post and I totally forgot about Matt and Amber. What was up with him? Why hasn't he signed any of the paperwork Amber sent him to end their marriage? I agreed with him in that instant, though, not to be ambushed into signed separation papers or whatever the notary public had.

Surprised about Bobby too since he was the one who had a much better handle on finances and even owned his own home before marrying Danielle.

I enjoyed seeing the updates, but I agree that they DID NOT need to waste so much time on Amber and scummy Matt. Clearly, he's got a lot of issues with his "I'm going to go call an IG model." Who cares!? Idiot. You'll notice we didn't see anything from the disastrous season 2. I remember the story of Danielle's pregnancy/labor and how scary it was. Even scarier on to watch it. Funny that the two of them were matching last night. Elizabeth and Jamie are a nice surprise. It seemed like they were well-matched, but just couldn't get out of their own way. I'm glad they seem to be in a better place right now. She seems much calmer and more settled. I thought I remembered reading that Doug and Jamie had lost their house and/or were living with his folks. Maybe that was before their daughter?

Yes, I believe you are right about Doug and Jamie losing their house before Jamie got pregnant with their daughter. They were living with his parents when they found out they were expecting Henley. And I wanted to know more about this "dream house" they just bought in Florida. Like, are they moving there? Is this a vacation home, or what?

IIRC from Jamie’s Insta, it’s a vacation home in Siesta Key. They’re going to be snowbirds.

Jamie no longer works as a nurse and it seems as if her main gig is hosting MAFS Unfiltered and showing up for all things MAFS. NJ is a high property tax state, so I often have wondered how much she gets paid for hosting the Unfiltered show. I guess Doug is working too. I don't follow any of these people on IG or social media but I guess they are doing okay if they are able to buy a vacation home in one of the Keys. Good for them!

I mean, she's almost at her due date, so she's obviously not working at all right now, but she was still working as a labor and delivery nurse the last I heard. There's a pic on her Insta in her scrubs in January.
Unfiltered is a really undemanding gig time-wise. It's filmed after taping for the MAFS season ends and is only over the course of a few days (hence, why they're always wearing the same clothes). I think she probably makes some money from her Insta, as do many reality stars.

Critical, I don't have a source and I was just basing it on what I read in anther forum I belong to. I'd actually have a bit more respect for her if she were working as a nurse, although in this time of COVID I hope she's on maternity leave. I don't know when she is due with her little one. ETA: Mea culpa. I was sadly mistaken. Per jamieotis.com/

ETA: Mea culpa. I was sadly mistaken. Per jamieotis.com/Her due date is 5/11 - in ten days. Did you watch the special the other night? She was heavily pregnant. Really though, there's no way she should have been working at any time during her pregnancy with the coronavirus pandemic. They don't know how the virus could affect fetuses. It would have been foolish and reckless to potentially expose her unborn child. My cousin, who is a nurse, worked for maybe a week right at the beginning of the pandemic while she was pregnant. Her boss sent her on maternity leave early when it started to become clear how dangerous the virus is.
I have respect for her regardless. She came from very little, practically raised her younger siblings while her mother was off doing drugs and whatever else, AND she earned a nursing degree. IMO, she has a lot to be proud of.

Yes, she does have a lot to be proud of. I'm not one of her haters at all. I just don't get the appeal of wanting to be a D list celebrity. Nursing is a noble profession and NYC nurses make a very good salary. I will never understand what motivates one to aspire to be on a reality TV show. Unlike AI, The Voice, America's Got Talent, where one actually is there to perform or further one's career.

Anyone see the MAFS compilation show last night? Jamie O hosted it and it contained clips of couples from all past 10 seasons. They showed them in batches like "5 Best Honeymoon Adventures", "5 Most Awkward Moments", "5 Most Romantic Moments", etc. Since I hadn't seen any season prior to Ashley/Anthony, it was interesting to see the other couples and boy that Sam really was nasty towards Neil. Yikes! She emasculated him at every turn; what a strident woman!

Yikes! She emasculated him at every turn; what a strident woman! I saw it. You only got to see a very small portion of how bad Sam was to Neil. That's why it was so good to see her at the reunion and still so regretful over her behavior. I think she genuinely feels bad and has worked to fix herself. Most of the time the horrible ones are unapologetic or make excuses for their awful behavior, so good for her for owning up to it. It was nice to see Neil say kind things to her and her family. He was a genuinely nice guy, so it's not surprising, but I'm certain it's easier for him to not hold any animosity since she is so contrite.

To be fair, I should add that Sam started realizing just how great Neil was towards the end of their time together on the show, but it was too little too late. She did want to stay together and had started changing her behavior even before filming was over. Neil was right not to stay with her, but she at least started to try to be decent. Again, more than many can say.

I really felt for Sam on Decision Day. She knew she'd blown it. She was horrible to Neil at the beginning of their marriage and he just couldn't get past it. By the time she started to see why she and Neil were matched AND started to have feelings for him, it was too late. While he forgave her, he still didn't want to stay married to her because of how she treated him. Kudos to her for taking that lesson and learning from it. It's hard to admit - especially on TV! - that you behaved badly. I respect her for owning up to her mistakes.
For anyone who's interested....Jamie's due date is Monday the 11th and she's having a home birth. She's planning on doing Insta live during the labor, which I can't imagine wanting to do, but it's not my labor!

I’m liking their quarantine show. Those babies are so cute. The Two with the doll too funny .
Jamie and Beth are the same fighting pair I see.
Anthony and Ashley are so cute together and their little girl ...liked last week with the huge puzzle they are doing.

I'm enjoying Couples Cam a lot! Did anyone watch the Australia edition last night? I thought I had set it to record, but it didn't. I noticed it after the show had been on for quite awhile, so I set it to record a later episode, so I'll probably watch it today. I am enjoying Couples Cam as well.

I watched the first episode of the Aussie version and wasn't impressed. Then I read an article about the marriages not actually being legal marriages and well, what's the point? Isn't that just a dating show then? IIRC, on the Australia , couples have to file a form/paperwork 30 days prior to marrying and these couples don't do that, so the marriages aren't legal. Apparently, they can bail out at any of the designated times and they're done. It feels more like BIP or something, only with wedding dresses. I'm enjoying Couples Cam. While Elizabeth and Jamie are bickering again, I sort of get it. How many of us would be able to live with someone in a one-bedroom apartment for months during this situation and not bicker a little? I do think she's VERY naive about thinking they'll be able to afford a bigger place, much less a house anywhere in that area. They did get a little dose of that in this last episode. I don't think either of them have any concept of real estate prices and rent costs in the Bay Area.
I'm a little shocked that Danielle already wants to talk about another baby after what she went through. She almost died. I totally get why Bobby didn't like the idea.
Shawniece and Jephte seem to be doing really well. That little challenge they did with her climbing on him was hilarious. I love that they're having fun together. Their little one is absolutely adorable.
I really like that they're doing this show and tackling the realities of the current situation. Are any other reality shows doing that? I mean, they have Jamie about to give birth and worrying about a home birth AND Covid, Ashley and Anthony dealing with their jobs in fields that are experiencing a downturn right now and then Jessica is managing a Covid ward at the hospital. It's nice to watch a show that feels like it's happening in the real world NOW, when so many of the reality shows that are airing were filmed before all this happened.
