How strange! I think they might have revised the article since I posted it. I swear it was just a short note about how they had flown in on Wednesday on the way to the Invictus Games and been seen walking on the grounds at Windsor on Thursday. (Or maybe I only saw part of the article and thought I'd seen the whole thing.)

Considering the complete PR wreck Kate and William's visit to Jamaica was a few weeks ago they really need to give Harry and Meghan a rest.

Seriously. Just because they chose to step back from the royal life doesn't mean they aren't still family. She is his grandmother, for goodness sake. And you could always tell she loved him. People need to just let it be. Too bad they didn't bring the kids, it would have been fantastic for her to meet her new great-granddaughter, but I get why they didn't.

The media need to step back, I don't think that many people care tbh. Using no security, is a bit silly, you automatically get security when you visit her majesty. The queen loves all of her family, no matter what.

Unfortunately people do care; that's why Samantha was able to have 10 well-trafficked Twitters that were filled with nothing except bashing Meghan and Harry. They're probably the same people who scream if Kate wears a dress a little above her knees.

Visiting Grandma shouldn’t be considered stepping into a limelight, but if it is, then all the more reason why they should be allowing him to pay for UK-trained security personnel!

( shrug) They moved to the US for a life, out of the limelight, when you step out of that, people talk.. Unfortunately, they do still talk. There's always the media who will talk.

I wish they would dress Charlotte in something different on special occasions. Don’t get me wrong I love smocked dresses in tiny prints, as well as cardigan sweaters, but I’d love to see her in an Easter coat and bonnet and/or different dress styles.

Man, that was a nasty article filled with speculation and destructive opinion! Can you imagine reading something like that about yourself? Jab after jab. Oh, they haven't seen her in so long! Oh, they haven't personally introduced her to their daughter! Oh, they need to be in the palace reconciling if they know what is good for them! And oh, Harry should've been present last month for his grandfather's memorial... No mention of the fact that they haven't been because of 1) COVID, 2) the Queen's ongoing bout with COVID and another unknown illness that hasn't been shared with the public, 3) lack of security, and 4) a prior security breach during a visit. I wouldn't take the children there, either! They stopped in on their way to the Invictus Games and comments like these get thrown their way. UGH. I would abhor a life of being judged like that. They don't "need a win", for Pete's sake! I totally agree here in your comments. Prince Harry and Meghan can never win no matter what they do or say.

As long as The Queen is alive I do not see this changing. There is a long standing tradition of princesses in the smocked baby doll dress and cardigans for special occasions since Princess Diana's day. Looking at photos of Anne at the same age the dresses are nearly identical, tradition is strong with this family.. lol. Little Lottie will have YEARS ahead of her to be a fashion icon.. I just hope she has better sense in the teen years than her second cousins did.

I never want to see her, in an easter bonnet, ever! ..

Take the spotlight off Kate and let little Charlotte dress in something new and special! You only get to be a little girl for just so long!

Harry hasn't spent any time with the Queen in two years but now he is there for a few hours to make sure she is surrounded by the proper people to protect her? Where was he when Philip was dying? Making a documentary in California about how awful his family is. I'm sure that brought the Queen comfort. In what way has any of his behaviors in a two-year period benefited or protected the Queen? Yes, there was a pandemic that made travel an issue, but he was able to travel to London for a funeral and an unveiling of a statue. He certainly could have spent more time with his grandmother. Other people in the family have watched over the Queen and taken on added responsibilities that Harry will never have to worry about. Harry's arrogance, delusions and bottomless pit of resentment are what the Queen needs protection from. Not Edward, Sophie, Charles and Ann.

Yeah. I've always been fairly sympathetic to him (or at least neutral), but the more he opens his mouth, the less sympathetic I feel. That line about wanting to protect the queen was absurd and rather offensive to her and everyone around her, I'm guessing.

Sounds to me like he doesn’t trust his father and/or his brother, and there may very well be good reason not to.

I read awhile ago that there are close family protectors for the Queen and William and Harry are two of them. He could be referencing that as it is an official duty.

Well, if that's the case, I'd like to see their job descriptions become public because the smackdown he's been receiving for his comment has been brutal. Word is that DT mentions Meghan and Harry in his interview with the disgraced Piers Morgan. He supposedly uses a vulgar phrase that would be, in my opinion, unacceptable in today's day and age. If any of this is true, Meghan should consider DT's opinion of her a badge of honor.

They keep stuff like this very close to the vest. I just hate the way every time Harry says anything, or gives a simple opinion of anything related to the Royal Family, nomatter how innocent, he gets publicly carved up by this bunch. As if he's revealing some huge top secret information. I've yet to see him reveal anything all that shocking to me. I think the reason they are all so critical of anything & everything Harry & Meghan, is that they (H & M) made the cardinal sin of doing what all the rest of them would love to do......They got out.

Harry and Meghan left England to get away from all the harassment thrown at them and this country is doing the same. How awful it must be to live like that on a daily basis.

I'm glad Harry, Meghan, and their children were able to make it there for the Jubilee. It has to have meant the world to the Queen. Standing on the balcony to wave to & be seen by the crowd is ultimately nothing. It's just for show, but just being there & bringing the children to see/meet the Queen is the important part. She has to be ecstatic. What a wonderful 96th birthday gift & 70th year on the throne gift. Having her meet her namesake great granddaughter, her great grandson, and be with her grandson & his wife is a gift that can't be topped. I watched some of the Jubilee celebrations this morning. The more I watched, the more I thought what an odd life that has to be. Growing up your whole life thinking that all of that is "normal": Standing on balconies waving to the cheering & adoring crowds of thousands; Cameras taking your pictures all the time; Guards; Servants; Always being taught & expected to act proper. Not to mention living in castles with massive grounds & gates. No bills, no credit cards, no money needed. It all just falls into place for you. Plus your Grandmother is Queen of England! It doesn't get any bigger than that. All these children, and eventually adults, don't know anything else but that way of life. For many generations that frame of mind has been passed down from one to another. They truly don't have any comprehension of how the rest of us live. This is one reason that what Harry did was so huge & so brave. It had to have been like being dropped on a strange new world with ways & customs he had no comprehension of. Hopefully his children will be raised with a window into both worlds. It's odd sometimes where my mind goes while watching something like the Jubilee celebrations.

In the balcony photo with everyone, the queen looks like a wise Yoda, especially when she is talking with young Louis. Absolutely adorable.

I thought the first minutes were the best---the Queen with Paddington Bear---how great was that...and then to see Adam come out. The rest, while certainly ok, was downhill.

Diana made sure her boys knew what the real world was like. she even took them to homeless shelters as well as aid wards, unannounced and in some cases, they met face to face with all kinds of people living on the streets. they went to Mcdonalds using their own money to pay for food. both of them often speak about how their mother gave them a good dose of the real world and both claim her ferrying them through that as foundations for their own ways of giving to the real world in various ways. she was truly a maverick in the realm of the royal world.

Queens Brian May and Roger Taylor, absolutely astonishing that both continue to entertain us with their talent and songs. Good for Adam! Queen and The Queen. Perfect. Should have had Queen entertain for 4 hours and cut out everyone else. like the queen, they are a treasure.

Yes, that was quite the visual. He played the roof of Buckingham Palace for the Queens Golden Jubilee. My favorite is Roger Taylor. Such an elegant man now. His drumming unique. I cant believe its been 10 years since Adam joined! Queen and Adam were definitely the highlight!
