Just awesome!
You could easily tell the bride from any of the other women present. She had the only headdress that was not at a 45 degree angle, LOL.
Mom and GrandMom in green!

This ceremony was different. From the gospel singers to the pastor who spoke So passionately. If they hadn't lost my invitation in the mail, I would've enjoyed being there. Haha! I'm feeling sleepy right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought this wedding was absolutely gorgeous. From the bride and groom, to the service, itself. VERY classy!

I thought this wedding was absolutely gorgeous. From the bride and groom, to the service, itself. VERY classy! So you didn't watch it on NBC and didn't see Kathie Lee? NOT classy. Tacky. I switched channels rather than taking a risk of seeing her again. We've been to Windsor, and toured St. George's Chapel. It was awesome to "be there" again.

Ha! Thanks for starting a thread! I'm glad I'm not the only one watching. I just stayed up all night and am watching for a second time. I loved it. Especially the American priest making all those stuffy royals uncomfortable! :D That might have been the first time they sat through a church service where they priest quoted MLK. I loved Meghan's sly smile through his sermon.
I thought the gown was perfect, she was gorgeous (although that one strand off hair in her face drove me crazy!) and he looked so handsome in his uniform. That dress had a little Arthurian vibe, I thought. Very romantic, but also modern. The veil was spectacular. I loved the moment when she took Charles' arm as she came down and aisle and when Harry thanked his father. The little ones were so precious and that one page's face as they were about to enter the church was a hoot.
As a fan of Suits, I loved seeing the cast there looking fabulous. Gina Torres (Jessica) and Sarah Rafferty (Donna) looked particularly spectacular, as they always do on the show. Gabriel Macht proved once again that he can WEAR A SUIT. Abigail Spencer looked darling too. I usually think Troian Bellisario (Patrick J. Adams' gf) looks fantastic, but her outfit was sort of blah and literally beige. Ick.
The commentators exclaimed that Amal Clooney seemed to bring her own light. It was that freaking yellow dress!
I wondered if the Queen picked that color so people could see her in the pictures. She's done that in the past and it always makes me laugh.
My favorite dress/outfit was Kitty Spencer in that fabulous green and floral number. Just stunning!
The music was lovely, although "Stand By Me" felt a bit cliche. Loved the choir, but wish it was a different song. At least it wasn't "Imagine," which gets rolled out far too frequently. That cellist was otherwordly. I cannot believe he's only 19!
I wonder how long we have to wait for them to do a balcony wave....or are they not doing that?
All the cracks about Victoria Beckham's sourpuss had me in stitches.

I thought Amals dress was fugly! Mustard, ugh Loved seeing Fergie Twitter was funny about how long loooong Curry went on for..the Royal's got the giggles.lol Meghan's dress was nice, a tad underwhelming, but pretty. Charles looked dashing!

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of yellow and especially not that color. She's stunning, but that color was icky. WAY too showy, which she sort of is.
James Blunt's wife was also wearing yellow - a floral, but yellow - and her dress was lovely.
I thought Venus and her hubby looked fabulous. Looks like she lost all that baby weight, huh?
I have to say, I was disappointed that Beatrice and Eugenie were wearing such simple hats. After what they wore to William and Catherine's wedding, I had high expectations.
I don't know why some media outlets are making a big deal about what Oprah wore. I thought it was boring. Same with Pippa's outfit.

I absolutely LOVED Amal Clooney's look!!! Not all skin tones can handle that color, for sure, but she looked wonderful.

The BBC commentator has NO idea who Serena Williams is married to. Pronounced his last name (which is Ohanian), "Oh-ee-an" - it's pronounced "oh-HAY-knee-an" and he's a big fat hairy deal in the tech world - the guy co-founded reddit.
I liked the cut of Amal's dress, but that color looked like bile. Maybe she CAN wear that color, but SHOULD she? Should anyone?
I thought Catherine looked lovely in cream.

Oprah was wearing a different outfit than she brought with her. It looked too white, so they had to get something pdq..she looked okay, you don't want to upstage the bride, whoever you are. It's nice Meghans mum is friends with Oprah! I hope Meghan did curtsy to the queen... (I'd have though Harry would have slowed her down and whispered to her if she'd forgotten)...

I woke up around 7ish so the wedding had already started, I watched on CBS and it was lovely. Afterwards I watched the BBC America preshow and the beginning I hadn't seen. I watched some on E but I cant stand Gulianna so I changed it. I am obsessed with everything...it was so moving...an American mixed divorcee into the royal family now is so exciting!
I will be watching the Will Ferrell/Molly Shannon take on things tonight when it comes back on HBO, I'm looking forward to that!

Just a quick note before I eat breakfast at noon...I loved it. Watched CNN from their prelim all the way through last night, but will check out the other networks today.
I loved the dress. I thought it so elegant. The embroidery on the veil edge was of flowers from all over the UK. You had to see a close up to notice them.
How could Oprah see out from under the brim of her hat? Noticed the Queen and Doria wore "almost" the same color green, though Doria had a white embossed design on her skirt.
All the children were adorbs, but the two twin boys carrying her veil were precious. Aren't they her God Children?
Loved every minute of it!!!!!

I watched BBC America for my first watch from prewedding until it started to repeat and now I’m watching NBC such a jarring difference; but still liking it.

This is such a sweet story. I hope it's true: www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a20744463/queen-elizabeth-meghan-markles-dog-guy-ride-to-royal-wedding-windsor/We do know the Queen is a dog lover and that she just lost her last corgi that was descended from her original corgi. AND we know that Meghan and the Queen bonded over their love of dogs. It would be cool to know that a dog that was rescued from the streets ended up riding to a royal wedding with the Queen! I seriously love that one of the Queen's dogs is named Vulcan. The Duke of Edinburgh looked rather frail. I mean, is HE nearly 97, so I guess that's to be expected. Plus, he just had surgery. I was happy to see him up and about. I love Matt Smith's story about meeting William, who was told MS would be playing his grandfather in The Crown. William's response? "LEGEND. The man's an absolute legend." LOL Other brides should take note of Meghan's jewelry. Less is more! Especially with the earrings. Quit making yourselves look like chandeliers AND taking the focus away from your face! Of course, with that tiara (!!!), you don't need anything else, do you!? I've seen some call her dress "plain," but I found it simple and elegant and, of course, beautifully cut. It's Givenchy, after all!

That missing tooth smile was too perfect. All the children were well behaved and well rested apparently - and mostly older than two (except for one teeny-tiny girl.) )
