CBS has also cancelled The Unicorn. I enjoyed that show, silly as it was. I usually watched all the Thursday night CBS shows and will miss Mom, too. Young Sheldon is renewed, so that's good. I like a combo of shows that are funny or lighthearted mixed with emotional issues.

CBS is really pissing off a lot of fans this week. They also moved Evil to Paramount+ Really, there's now nothing on CBS that I want to watch. I'll have to decide whether the Paramount+ subscription is worth it.
Maybe the announcement was made a while back, but I just saw this week that Freeform has canceled The Bold Type - the upcoming season will be its last I was a bit resistant to the show at first, but when I actually watched, I loved it. I love that it's about three strong, intelligent woman who are ambitious, supportive of their friends and very sex-positive. Plus, it tackled some tough subjects in a smart way. I'll miss it.
I read an interview with the showrunner of Prodigal Son and he's not given up yet. It sounds like they're trying to find a new home for the show. His plan was to have Martin survive and bring Michael Sheen back for season 3, but if Sheen wants out, he could just as easily kill him off. I'd rather that happen than the show get canceled. Plus, I actually don't love that character. There's enough interesting material with the rest of the family and characters for the show going forward.

I'm really pissed that they are moving Evil to Paramount+. I will have to wait until it comes on Netflix, or else forget about it. I can't pay for another streaming service and feel like they are taking these shows hostage.

I'll have Paramount+ for the Big Brother feeds, so hopefully I can catch the next season of Evil while I have a subscription. Still, I'm tired of the networks pulling that crap. Pretty sh*tty to gain an audience for a show on regular cable then yoink that show over to your paid streaming service. Still hoping that HBO Max picks up Prodigal Son...with that ending they could go on without Sheen if he'd rather go on vacation somewhere.

I can't afford another streaming service, nor do I even want another one. While I like a lot of CBS shows I don't think there is a single one that would convince me to pay for another steaming service.

Debris has been cancelled after just 1 season. I have to admit, I watched the 1st episode & wondered what the hell? I didn't watch a 2nd.

I watched more than half the episodes, but they were all set mostly in the Pacific Northwest under cloudy, gloomy skies and damp earth. It was really depressing after awhile.

Accent on the woo woo. I'm glad you liked the show & sorry they ended it for you, but I never got the gist in the 1st episode.

I just found Rebel last night and enjoyed it. I forgot it was mentioned here that it was cancelled. Looks like it would have been a fun show to watch for more than two episodes!

Rebel was very enjoyable. At least the season (and series) ended with all loose ends tied up, and a hint of what could have been season 2.

I am SO thrilled with this news. I am glad to see that there will be a second lease on life for this show.. i love the cast I know, I am too! I'm disappointed that it looks like maybe Marg Helgenberger won't be involved because she's on a new project, but I'm thrilled at how many cast members will be back! There were several recent cancellations I was bummed about, but this was the big one. I love this show. I especially loved how they handled Covid. When so many shows had a few Very Special Covid-themed episodes, All Rise just lived in the present reality while we were all going through it too. That completely remote episode they did at the beginning of the pandemic was incredible.
