Eh, I'm enjoying La Brea - I like a lot of the cast and it's a different idea. I'm sticking around to see where it goes.

I watched the premiere - I was looking forward to it - but I haven't even started the second episode. They borrowed from so many fantasy and/or horror memes it was hard to keep track. Plus the writing of those in peril is shockingly bad. C'mon, this is no Lost.

I have stuck around for 3 episodes and kinda fast forwarding a lot.

Eh, I'm enjoying La Brea - I like a lot of the cast and it's a different idea. I'm sticking around to see where it goes. I'm still not all the way in on this. They keep moving it around to different days. I hate that, almost as much as I hate that every time I find it & turn it on, it's a repeat. I mean, c'mon, this isn't an old rerun series. It's a brand new show. We don't need repeats at this point. I know why. They think it will get more people interested, but no it won't. It only confuses the people who were interested in the first place & don't need to see the same episode over & over again. I think I've seen 2 episodes, not sure. It's on again tonight. A repeat, again I think. What day is it on anyhow? I thought it was Tuesday, but here it is Saturday & it's listed. It just keeps popping up on random days. One day it was listed & when I turned it on something else was on. I think they need to get their act together & be a bit consistent. I'm not even sure if I like the storyline yet. When the dinosaurs showed up I kind of rolled my eyes. I'm still in for a couple of more episodes, if I can find them. I'm still willing to give this show a chance.

La Brea has been picked up for Season 2. It took some time, but I like this one. Now that I finally figured out that it's on on Tuesdays. The dinosaurs seem to have taken a back seat to the "Others", for lack of a better word for them.

I heard that Lovecraft country was cancelled cause of a hostile workplace involving showrunner Misha Green? Yep It’s really disappointing because LC was one of the most original, daring shows on TV and one of my favorites of the last few years. I’ve heard not-so-great things about Lena Waithe as a showrunner too. It’s so frustrating because it took so long for those doors to open. You wish the folks who finally got a seat at the table would do better. screenrant.com/lovecraft-country-canceled-toxic-work-environment-book-details/

I didn't know where else to put this, cause it ain't a renew or a cancellation, it is a reboot. Justified is returning with Timothy Olyphant in the lead.

CBS has been playing fast and loose with new episodes of any of its scripted dramas; so it is hard to tell if the network is on hiatus or certain shows have been cancelled. For Example, they left (once again) NCIS:LA off the Sunday schedule but did plug in a repeat of an Equalizer show. I've given upon them.
Midway through Season 6, CBS announces that Bull will end in May following Weatherly’s decision to move on.

CBS has renewed Ghosts & Bob Hearts Abishola. Peaaock has cancelled The Lost Symbol.Because no one wanted to pay extra for Peacock streaming. Peacock is really annoying for claiming to be a free streaming service and yet if you want to watch some features like Lost Symbol you need to pay for it. The same with the Bejing Olympics. FIOS program guide did and did not reflect NBC Olympics sports correctly at times and yet when I went to watch on Peacock they wanted me to join the Premium (pay) service. I refuse to pay twice for something (cable plus streaming) and I hate watching long sports events on my computer monitor.

I have Peacock and lasted 3 episodes of that show. It was beyond weird to me, anyway. You lasted longer than I did I got through part of one episode before falling asleep. It makes sense that the show wasn't any good: Dan Brown wrote the source material and he's a pretty lousy writer.
I can't see why anyone would pay for Peacock. Maybe in a few years they'll have built up their original series, but at the point, they've only had a handful of things really worth watching. I think if you were cutting the cord and really cared about watching NBC series, you'd want Peacock Like I said, I only have it because it comes free with my cable subscription.

The funny thing is, I can get NBC on the free antenna pulling in Direct TV that is on the roof of our building. That and the CW which is changing ownership so who knows what will happen with Channel 5 (the oldest in LA). Anyway, I'm too scared to drop any of the streamers I latched onto over a year ago; but when the time comes, Peacock is the first to go.

Peacock has now cancelled the Saved By The Bell 2020 series. Right after it won a GLAAD Madia Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Seems there's no love lost for Peacock in general as a streaming service, and I get why. Only reason I have it is to watch Murder She Wrote, and for my friend and I to watch Endgame when I hang at his place on weekends.
