Imposters season two, not as good as one imho. not nearly as good. I was watching last week's episode the other night while I was doing other things around the house and didn't really care what I missed

Definitely going to check out "Safe"! Right now, we're re-watching all our dvd's for Game of Thrones, in preparation for the final season. I need to check, not sure if we've seen all the seasons available for "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" on Netflix, we love that show!

I was catching up on Game of Thrones too! Although I'm a bit behind. Some parts are a snooze fest (John Snow!).

My sister and I watched Amazon Prime's Season 1 of The Man in the High Castle in one very long session and Season 2 in another very long session, and we are waiting the next season which we understand is in production. We watched both in horrid fascination.
Left to my own devices and just looking at the guide, I would never have selected anything like this; however, family from out of town was at my sister's for Thanksgiving, and we had nothing to do that Friday after Thanksgiving; we were NOT going out in that shopping crush! My nephew picked this out and turned it on. Soon I was mesmerized...almost shocked to the roots. What IF? Oh dear Lord, what IF?
This one is hard to stop. I am warning you. It is dark, intriguing, spelling binding, and beyond chilling.
Read the synopsis to see if you think you might be interested before you start.
***** The movie strongly resembles the book by Philip Dick - but when it deviates, it really does.

I finished the Alienist; it was a great story, but so gory and gross. I guess it was just a one series show; I haven't heard anything about a 2nd season and I don't think another season that went off from the novel would be that good.
Now I'm getting caught up on Imposters 2. I agree the first season was better. Even though I like the show, I wish this season would end the show and tie things up. This is the kind of show where the longer it runs the more ridiculous things get.

I just started watching "Evil Genius". This is definitely going to be a binge-watch for me!

I just did a mini-binge today on Game of Thrones. I find Jon Snow so boring. There is only 2 episodes per DVD - so can't really call it a 'binge'. But I don't think I can slog through anymore of Jon Snow's going on about his 'oath' and the 'nightwatch'. We get it. I'd like to see more of his dog.
Hopefully tonight I'll finish 3% - the Brazilian dystopian series. The costumes are so fun and it just got to a breaking point! I'm really enjoying it (I'm on Season 2).

Ok, I lied. During dinner I started watching 'Nailed It!'. Holy wow I'm cracking up! Home bakers try and re-create crazy cakes and what they come up with is so funny. It's totally good-natured. One woman did a 'princess castle' and the princess she made was both so scary and hilarious at the same time.
Going to watch episode #3 now!

Love when they say "nailed it" but it couldn't be further from the truth. I got my sister addicted to it as well. Hopefully they get more episodes soon.

I'm dying! It is so funny, and who knew Jacques Torres had such a sense of humor? I also love the host.
I stared a thread of 'things I've learned from Nailed It!' Because not only am I laughing, you LEARN when you bake!

Every weekend, usually on Saturday I have what I call a Days Fest. I tape Days of Our Lives all week & watch them then, usually one after another 'till they're done. It's amazing how quickly I can watch 5 hours of DOOL.

It's amazing how quickly I can watch 5 hours of DOOL. I like that idea. I tape Days and GH every day and watch the taped versions --- that way I can FF through all the commercials and all the scenes I'm not interested in. In that way, the episodes take about 30 minutes or so of actual watching time. I'd imagine you're doing something similar, MissScarlet.

What's it about> Where do you find it? Punkin, I'm not sure if you were asking me but I'll be happy to answer "Evil Genius" is on Netflix. I've just started watching the second episode, but it is about a really bizarre bank heist. The crime seems to have been masterminded by a woman. So far, it is riveting!

LOL, fang! I watched that! I thought it was called The Most Hated Woman in America. (That may have been just a descriptor). It starts out weird, then it gets more and more bizarre! These characters are zany beyond belief! Enjoy. I can see this one as one I'll watch again sometime. It's that good.

If I have to be anywhere at that time I'd prefer to have Days taped. I've been watching it since I was a child, except for a few lapses. I can watch the entire 5 hours in about 2 hours unless its an abnormally good week. I do the same thing with the FF'ing as you do.

Killing Eve on BBC America! It just ended and I had all episodes recorded when my DVR decided to die one day last week...so awful, no chance to note what I had recorded or what my season passes were, but I digress. We wathced all 8 episodes of season 1 on demand and LOVED it. My husband is not a "binge" guy; after two episodes he needs to do something else. However, this was so fast and brilliant (and unexpectedly, darkly funny!) that we plowed through them all in two days. I'm just glad I re-found FORT again the day before it happened; losing both parts of my TV life at the same time would have been too much!

It was great to see Sandra Oh in something good, and Jodie Corner is a gem.

I just started watching Into the Badlands.. and wow.. I love it! It has replaced GOT for me in the off season. Has about the same amount of violence, but some amazing acting. I don't know why I dind't start this show earlier, i am in season 2 now and it is my newest obsession.

Started 100% Hotter on Netflix, it's hilarious. It's an over the top British version of Stacy and Clinton's What Not To Wear. It's amusing and entertaining.

Tonight's binge de jour is 'Broadchurch'. First of all, what a horrible town to live in! Everyone is so sneaky! David Tennant is sooo delish. Those yummy freckles. I can see why he has so many children in real life. I'm on episode 5. I also love the female detective's relationship with her husband. It's nice to see a female detective that isn't bitter, single and drinks a lot.

Crit-i-cal!!! Thank you so much for recommending Broadchurch!! I just finished Season 1. I loved how shocked I was! I can't wait to see Olivia Colman in The Crown. She will 'rule'! (See what I did there?) Is Season 2 as good? Wow. Wow. Wow!

For those of you who were interested in watching Killing Eve but don't have access to BBC America, Hulu will be offering it later on this year!

(See what I did there?) Is Season 2 as good? Wow. Wow. Wow! I'm so glad you liked it! I normally like spoilers, but I avoided them with season 1. I loved being surprise, although I did figure it out a little bit ahead of the reveal (can't remember when, but I do remember thinking "I'll bet it was [x]!"). I didn't think seasons 2 and 3 were as good as season 1, but they were still very good. Considering that I'd watch DT read a phone book for 8 hours, I'm up for anything he does. I still do have a hard time with him as the bad guy on Jessica Jones because I love him so much! IMO, he's one of the more adorable people on the planet.

Thank you for not spoiling me! I honestly thought it was someone else until the last episode. And it seems like everyone on there was on 'Doctor Who'. (A childhood favorite of mine, so much so my mom bought me a t-shirt which I wish I still had!)
Funny you say that about Jessica Jones...that's where I first saw DT and even though he was horrible, Holy wow! I was so impressed. He is just excellent.
Again, thank you!!!!

Safe (Netflix) with Michael C. Hall...pretty darn good! It really got stirred up about halfway through. I couldn't guess who did what, there were so many secrets being kept...

Right????? If you haven't, Critical recommended 'Broadchurch' and it was...I think even better.
I've been watching 'The Handmaid's Tale' but it's so hard to watch at times that I need a break. It is so so good but very tough at times.
