1883 (Paramount+) was SO good. I adore Sam Elliott, and Tim McGraw did a great job. I had only two minor gripes: they were a bit heavy handed with Elsa's narration, and everyone's teeth were just too pretty and white for that time period. The last episode was kind of brutal, though. I may have paused it to go grab a few tissues... I think I read that there isn't going to be another season??? Kind of. They're going to jump to 1932...can't wait to see it.

Over the last two weeks of February, I panic-watched all of Jessica Jones, Daredevil and The Punisher and then The Defenders because Netflix had announced the Marvel series were all leaving at the end of the month. Even though I'd heard that they would all likely end up at Disney+, I wasn't confident they would be unedited for content. I mean, those shows are pretty violent and there's a fair amount of sex and profanity too.I didn't want to watch watered down versions of the shows I love. Then it turns out that, not only are they going to be on Disney+ starting on Wednesday AND they'll be part of new more adult content. Yay!
I don't love Iron Fist and I recently watched Luke Cage again, but I'll probably end up doing a re-watch of all the series in order one of these days. I still have hope that more of at least Daredevil and Jessica Jones will happen.
I've watched about a season and a half of Doc Martin and I'm conflicted about watching more. I sort of enjoy it, but I find him a bit unlikable AND I find his romantic lead pretty unlikable too. His hatred of dogs really bothers me. I started season 1 of Blood and just didn't get into it. I'm now watching season 1 of Line of Duty, which starred the great Lennie James. I think I'll end up finishing the series.

Watching this season of Aggresuko and was amazed at how dark this little anime has gotten. This season deals with "window seating" employees (where basically in Japan they put long term, high ranking employees in a room by themselves all day doing nothing in the hopes that they will retire), forced early retirement, and how some CEOs value dollars over people.

I just started Why Didn't They Ask Evans? on Britbox. It stars a shockingly dreamy Will Poulter (THAT'S a glow-up if I ever saw it!) and a host of wonderful British actors, and was directed by Hugh Laurie. Based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. Really well done. Beautifully costumed, good acting, it's just a gorgeous show. It's one of those shows where the location is so lovely that you wonder where it was filmed and fantasize about moving there. I've only watched episode one, so I have two more to enjoy tomorrow!

I loved it! I hadn't ever read that Christie book so the whole thing was a surprise. It was very well done. I couldn't wait to watch all the episodes.
