I thought one of the new people might be Booger from Revenge of the nerds at first.

I thought one of the new people might be Booger from Revenge of the nerds at first. That's the fabulous Dan Fogler. He plays Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts movies.
I love the new Judith! What a terrific little actress. I had to laugh during Talking Dead when Josh McDermitt referred to her and the most professional/mature actor on set She's adorable.
Yep, Carol definitely seems to be channeling her inner Laurie Strode
Curious to see what's happening at the Hilltop.....

Poor old Darryl and his dog living out in the woods. There is such chemistry between Darryl and Carol. You could see so much being said between them at the fire without a word being spoken!

When Carol was cutting Daryl's hair...*sigh* I like Ezekiel, but I still want a Carol/Daryl thing. So Daryl was out looking for Rick's body all these years? That's so Daryl. I'm glad Carol reeled him back in. And again with the weird X-shaped scar...what's up with that? That poor violin - Luke needs to head to the Smithsonian and go shopping. I would totally be raiding the museums if I were in the area. Not happy about Maggie being casually written off as "being somewhere else."

I heard what happened on last night's episode. The actor said he was bored with his character and they weren't really doing much with it lately. Who's going to be the new leader of hilltop?

Jesus really put in a fantastic fight. It looked as if one of the dead zombies was really human with a zombie face sewed on his! No wonder they can talk! I loved how they took an old car and hooked it up to a horse. Everything is so 1800s in their lives now

They totally wasted his character's potential. He was such a badass in the comics, and started out that way on the show - then, nothing. I don't blame him for being irritated. That was an incredible fight scene in the cemetery at the end, though. I actually gasped when the Whisperer came up behind Jesus and spoke...eek. And then I let a few cuss words fly when he was stabbed. I have no idea who's going to be in charge of Hilltop now...and what is Negan going to do now? It looked like he was going after Michonne...

I wonder if Negan is going to help against the whisperers.

I hope Tara doesn't take over the Hilltop. Not a favorite of mine. RIP Jesus. Are the Whisperers former Saviors who sewed the Zombies faces on themselves? Sometimes I feel like this show is "Lost" and I get lost. LOL
So we have to wait until February now? ::sigh::

Poor, pitiful Lucille-less Negan. I almost felt sorry for him as he sat around his ruined Sanctuary. And while I enjoy his interactions with Judith, is nobody watching this child? She's wandering the roads alone with a gun she can barely hold up. Still mad about Jesus. And the news about Michonne. And Rosita's pregnancy reveal - oh, no. If this goes the way the comics do...

I seriously hope Rosita's story is another one that diverges from the books. There's a precedent set there, so it wouldn't be the first change they made. Kudos to the casting department. The last Judith was cute, but sort of like window dressing. This time they found themselves a natural. Not only is she really talented, but she also looks like she could be Sarah Wayne Callies' daughter. Based on interviews with various cast members, it sounds like she's the most professional one on set at any given time

Henry IS annoying. And really, really dumb. Now Daryl has to put himself at risk to go hunt Henry's stupid self down because he just had to go chase after a girl he just met. Honestly, I'm not into any of the teen characters, I wish they'd just stick with the grown folks. I'm not interested in the MTV version of the apocalypse. I will say Alpha is probably the scariest villain they've had on this show. Samantha Morton is fantastic...she just radiates malevolence. I can't look away when she's onscreen. The preparations for the Fair are making me anxious.

Yeah that's mostly what I didn't like about the previous episode was the dragged out conversation with Henry and Alpha's daughter. Alpha's daughter was about to kill Henry, and now he's risking his life to try to get her back. And who knows if she's telling the truth or is just as crazy as her mom.

Agreed about Henry. He's right up there on the list of stupid, annoying kids with Jessie's kids Sam and Ron. Clearly, they need to hogtie him until he's gotten through puberty. If he gets anyone I like killed, I'll be so mad. I dread what Alpha is going to do, but I just love Samantha Morton. She's magnetic and SO talented. Is anyone else watching Ride With Norman Reedus? I don't know that enough people are watching for it to warrant its own thread. Plus, all of the guests this season are current of former WD cast members...or at least there's one in every episode, in addition to other guests. I LOVED this last episode with him and Melissa McBride tracing her Scottish heritage. I've always been a Daryl/Carol-shipper and the chemistry between NR and MM is pretty strong. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a there there, if you know that I mean
I loved the episode with Steven Yuen in and around the Bay Area too, because it's all so familiar to me. In so many cases, I knew exactly where they were. Either I've been there too or driven past it. Fun to also go see Andrew Lincoln in his home country. I'd forgotten that his f-i-l is Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull. That's bonafide rock royalty, right there. JA's house was incredible - like something off a Masterpiece drama. Definitely not what you'd picture for a rock star!

ARGH. Not only did Henry's stupidity put people at risk again, but now Daryl made the mistake of taking Lydia again because dumbass Henry just couldn't leave her there. This won't end well. Nice ambush by Daryl, though. Negan calling out Michonne on her leadership style - ouch. I did laugh when she got him with "You're an asshole, not an idiot. " They're going to regret that vote to attend the Kingdom's Fair... Not super interested in the soap opera stuff with Rosita and the guys. Hopefully they keep that to a minimum. And just when I thought Alpha was the most frightening thing, here comes Beta. Good grief.

Well we finally found out where Michonne and Daryl got those scars...and why Michonne doesn't want to let strangers in. I don't blame her one bit, after her old friend and the Creepy Kids Club did her and Daryl wrong like that. Poor pregnant Michonne still kicked everyone's ass, even though she tried her best not to. That scene was pretty brutal. Rutina Wesley will always be Tara from True Blood to me. Really good episode leading into the last two that I'm dreading...

Poor Michonne! That scene was hard to watch. She has suffered so much on the show--mostly from brutal all too human monsters.

I can't stand Henry, but MAN, I love Judith! Cailey Fleming is an absolute rock star! That scene with Michonne and Judith = OH, and the scene with Daryl and Judith =
So many child actors are cute and they know their lines, but that kid can ACT. Kudos to the casting director who found her. Right now, she's one of the things that makes the show for me.
I'm still not 100% sure about Negan, but if he can help the group against the Whisperers, I'm down with them letting him out. They're going to need all the help they can get and he's great at being really intimidating.
I do love Ryan Hurst (OPIE! ), but Beta scares the crap out of me. Is there any circumstance where the Whisperers can stay on this show longer than a season?

I'm a horrible person. I was actually relieved when they showed Henry's head on the pike and not Ezekiel's. The whole time I was dreading seeing Ezekiel up there at the end - and they tricked us a little to make us think that - but they went in a different direction. Sad about Tara and the Highwaymen, too, I was liking those guys. Tammy, Enid and the other teens - meh. Hilltop can't seem to keep a leader, what are they going to do now? Daryl begging Carol to look at him and not at the pikes at the end had me in tears, though. I won't miss Henry, but why do they have to keep messing with Carol's kids? Geez. I read that there will be another "big thing" happening in the finale next week...staying away from spoilers so I don't know what it is. Hmm.

I always record The Walking Dead to watch the next day. My recording ended when Alpha was in the theater with her daughter. If I hadn't watched my recording of Talking Dead I wouldn't have known that I missed the last 25 minutes that hadn't taped. I went to OnDemand to see the last 25 minutes. So, so sad.

I read that there will be another "big thing" happening in the finale next week...staying away from spoilers so I don't know what it is. Hmm. Yeah, that's the only reason I'm sad about Henry: I care about how it's going to affect Carol and Ezekiel (who's - YAY! - alive!).
I'm actually sad about Enid. I really liked her and have been enjoying seeing her stepping into adulthood and "shadowing" Saddiq. I'm also bummed about Tammy, not really for the character, but because I know Brett Butler has been through so much and I was pleased to see her working again. Tara? It's always sad to see a longtime character go, but I'd rather it was her than Rosita, which is what I was bracing for.
Now if the plot follows the comics with reference to Negan's storyline and the stuff with the Whisperers, I'll be happy!
So three of the four Lintz siblings have been on the show (playing either Sophia or Henry) and ALL of their characters have died. They should probably cast the eldest sister and take out the entire family
My "do not kill" list is a lot shorter now: Carol, Daryl, Michonne....and now freaking DOG. If they kill that dog, I'm done! Shiva almost did it to me (I still get weepy over that CGI tiger), but if they kill Dog, I think that'll make me tune out for good. I know Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus both signed contracts for big money, but that doesn't mean a thing. I'm worried they'll kill off Carol next week You KNOW it's going to be a big death. I'm dreading it. Also worried it could be Rosita or Ezekiel, since they were both sort of pardoned from being heads on a stick this week.
Samantha Morton is incredible, but Alpha needs to die.
