I must say I didn't expect them to send away three ladies last night! Tired of the women complaining about Carolyn. I find nothing wrong with someone going after what they want and there is absolutely NOTHING stopping these women from doing the same because at the end of the day it's a competition.

I find nothing wrong with someone going after what they want and there is absolutely NOTHING stopping these women from doing the same because at the end of the day it's a competition.I think they're afraid to! I heard at least two people mention "the wrath of Carolyn," so she must really be something else when she's mad.

True, but they shouldn't get mad at someone playing the game. Just play it harder. I don't know if Carolyn really likes this guy or she went there with the purpose of becoming a "story" but she's beginning to overplay her hand and if she's not careful he might send her packing out of general principle. You can't tell someone you want to them to explore other people, only to say that "seeing them with other people makes you upset." That poor man is beginning to feel like he's cheating on someone he doesn't even have a commitment to and it's bringing him down.

I see red flags between Kurt and Carolyn. I mean, that's a lot to deal with when you are just starting to get to know someone, jealousy, and all the un-fun things about relationships. This should still be in the fun stage - they are just getting to know each other. His head is turned? Turn it right back. But throwing a tantrum this early in the game when you aren't in an exclusive relationship is exhausting. So much time for that later on! Lol.

Spa day was ok. Poor Kurt is worried that he will do something to set Carolyn off again that he just can't seem to relax. Steve is enjoying himself, but I really don't see any real connections for him like Kurt is with Carolyn...b*tchy as she is.
The date at the winery was so much more chill without Carolyn. You could see everyone relax. I thought it was a bitchy move from Carolyn getting Jenny to use the interruption coin. She knew that wasn't a great idea, but she encouraged Jenny to do it because she wanted to cause drama even when she wasn't there. That was totally sh*ty of her.

Evening part of the date and the guys are switching girls. I like Suzanne and her knitting. She is joking around about it with Kurt. They both say they are interested in a couple of the same girls...Amanda, Calah and Whitney.
Just when Whitney and Steven are talking and making out when Jenny interrupts. Neither is happy.

Steven is a little bummed about the interruption. Jenny keeps harping on wanting to get married and have kids ASAP and while he agrees, he wants it with the right person. She has a one track mind and he is not liking it. He feels she didn't use the coin well. They just discussed the same stuff as before.
I love the two of them discussing things at their house. They are such good buds. More than anything else, I am enjoying the bromance!!! "If we don't leave here with any of these women, at least we leave with each other!"
I like how they discuss the eliminations. They are respectful and thoughtful about how they approach things.
Going home...between Jenny and Breanna and Jenny goes. I am not surprised, but she is pissed and doesn't even want to talk to Steven who is trying to explain. She is embarrassed about the night before. Steven thinks that he has spent the most time with her and the romantic connection should be stronger.
They keep Breanna and take the time to tell her that she deserves to be here and that she needs to be more confident in herself. That was really sweet!
I love this show! Bachelor should take note. This hour just breezed bye and they leave you wanting more.

Kurt is such a dummy, but such a typical "guy." They get taken in by manipulative women, and make terrible choices. Carolyn will be one of those, if he ends up with her.
Then he gets "intrigued" by Calah, who's just playing up the mystery quietness in order to intrigue him. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I guess he deserves a Carolyn in his life, if he chooses the drama over real connections and fun, like he has with Amanda and perhaps someone else there -- but, he won't give them a chance.
Steven is much more mature than Kurt is, apparently. I just can't tell who he really likes. He's kind of the same with all of them!
Jennie overdid it with all her marriage/children talk. Once you covered that, move on to a new topic of conversation! He doesn't need to hear it every single time you see him. I did feel bad for her though, when she was eliminated. She looked so hurt. And I agree that Carolyn likely encouraged her knowing full well it could go badly. ugh.

I felt bad for Jennie, but what did she think was going to happen when she crashed a date and started going on about kids and marriage now? It made her look desperate. At least I don't have to look at those lips any more. Kurt is going to regret it if he ends up with Carolyn....

To Steven: Pick Whitney or Annie. They’re both natural beauties and I don’t just mean their physical appearance. They both seem down-to-earth and classy. They’re both mature. They don’t act jealous. They don’t bring the drama. To Kurt: UGH! Where do I start? Dump Carolyn. She’s cray-cray. She acts like she owns you. She acts like she’s already in a relationship with you. How can you not see there’s no ‘happily ever after’ with her? You already dislike the ex-husband/existing child thing. You already feel the life getting sucked out of you the minute she starts giving you the stink eye. Dump her. She’s not worth all the “extra” you’d have to put up with. Pick Amanda if you feel you have a better connection with her, but don't get sucked into Carolyn's tornado. My pick for you would be Whitney or Annie (but I’ve already given them to Steven). LOL.

I fell for Suzan because of her knitting, so I was so happy to see her on a date finally.
Waywyrd, I am so happy not to see those lips either. They look painful and that I am looking at something that should be inside the body, not on a face.
Great to see a whole episode with minimal Carolyn.

Late to the thread but I'm definitely watching and enjoying it!! Way better than the Bachelor. If the Bachelor franchise stopped being so manufactured and cared less about their brand it could be good again.

If you think about it, the whole premise of this show is messy because you essentially have a bunch of women competing for the affections of two men, and all the inherent issues with that. Ugh. That's why I don't mind Carolyn's mess as much because NO ONE is here looking for love; they either wanted to be on TV, get a free vacation, for the experience, etc. With that said; Carolyn knew exactly what she was doing when she encouraged that big-lipped girl to crash the party with her coin. You can't trust anyone in this environment because when you're not with the guys you're with a bunch of toxic women saying toxic things about the other woman while getting drunk. The more time goes on the more confident I am that the lady who decided it wasn't for her and went home early made the right choice because while it's entertaining for us to watch it's not entertaining to LIVE through, if you know what I mean.

I am behind and trying to catch up. This is a fun challenge...and not just because the guys took their shirts off. Why can't the bachelor do these kind of challenges? This would have been great during lockdown seasons.
Kurt wins...putting on the tuxedo did him in. He says he threw the comp because he wanted the bouncy castle.
Steven advises Kurt to not take Carolyn because the other women will think it is over. Kurt is an idiot.

Kurt picks Carolyn and the other women are not impressed. He wants to figure out how he feels about the ex.
Steven picks Annie to get to know her better. I would have preferred this date as well.
Whitney is thinking of using her coin...on Kurt just to p*ss off Carolyn.
The thing that bugs me about Annie is that she is always talking about who is the millionaire. IMO it shouldn't matter, although they seem to have a great date.
Carolyn is annoying me again. She won't even allow Kurt to ask his questions which are realistic and rational. She keeps turning things on him. So manipulative. What bugs me even more is that he is aware of this and still lets it happen. He is one of those guys who complains about the woman, but actually loves the drama. They deserve one another.

Both guys are coming back and making out in the vans. Kurt turns off the camera in theirs.
The other ladies are conspiring to help Whitney use her coin and hide it from Carolyn. She greets the guys at their front porch and has something set up for her and Kurt.
Steven feels a little hurt, but now understands how the other ladies feel. He is also happy because he doesn't think Carolyn is good for Kurt and doesn't bring out the best in him. Steven is so mature and Kurt not so much. He has admitted that he is falling in love with Carolyn and has feelings for Whitney. He says he is screwed.

Amanda is not feeling so good. She thinks her guy would act more interested. She is over being ignored by Kurt for Carolyn. I think all the girls are.
Guys arrived with some goodies for the ladies to try to make it up to them.
They both chat with different women, but I feel like these are just fillers.
Amanda tells Kurt she feels like going home. She doesn't want to feel like another girl. Go home girl. He needs to realize that being all up Carolyn's a** has consequences.

No Kurt, Amanda is not running away from her feelings. She sees that you pretty much ignore everyone for Carolyn. Elimination night! Kurt talks about all the Carolyn issues. Amanda pulling back. Steven feels Breanne would fit in with his life if she would just relax and be herself. Both think Suzanne is quirky, but not sure if they have enough time to catch up with her. Whitney, Annie, Calah, Amber, Breanna get to stay. Suzanne is done. Carolyn wants Amanda gone so that Kurt will prove his commitment to her. B*tch! Guys want Amanda to stay. Run girl, run!!! Avocado...everyone laughs and is happy for her...other than Carolyn. Even bigger b*tch. Next week...ladies families arrive. This should be interesting.

Kurt is so frustrating, and Carolyn is horrible. The way she "answered" his questions, by not answering them and making him feel bad for asking, was telling. He admits he's mesmerized by her (looks?), so puts up with the crap she's dishing out. It's hard to watch.
I have to agree with Amanda: if he wants Carolyn and her drama, he's not the right guy. I'd be gone too.
When he turned the camera off in the vehicle, it confirmed to me that he's just horny for Carolyn, and maybe if he gets to sample some of it, he can wake up and see that he has better quality women there for him. But, I don't think that will really happen, and he'll be a miserable wimp following Carolyn around into the sunset. But it won't be forever, because she's horrible.
I'm SO glad Steven has a better head on his shoulders! He's much more entertaining to watch dating these women.

Kurt is such a dumbass! He's been locked in on Carolyn and isn't giving anyone else a real shot. Steven even tried to tell him he'd have more fun on the date with Amanda...he's going to pick her and he's going to regret it. I'm not sure who Steven is leaning towards, but he'd be my pick and not because of the money. If Breanna would get out of her head I think they'd be a good match. I think it's funny how they stereotype what a "rich" person would do well, like be good at opening champagne bottles and putting on cufflinks.

If these women spent enough time on their own game as they did talking s*** about Carolyn they would be a lot better off. Enough, already.
I thought that the friendly competition between the two guys showing their "prowess" in front of the women was very fun.
I know sometimes you know what you want, but IMO Kurt is not being very fair to the other women by picking Carolyn for everything and he's not being fair to himself for not fully having this opportunity. At this point all the women should just clamor around Steve and ignore Kurt because at least Steve is trying to be fair.
I'm still trying to figure out Carolyn's deal because half the things she says seems like she likes him and the other half is really possessive and it's like Cmon girl, you knew what this game was going to be like. On the other hand, I have no patience for men out here having issues with a woman "with a past" (whoop dee doo, she was married before and has a kid, so what) when they're out here trying to sleep with everyone not tied down, and that would have been my cue to "thanks, no thanks" Kurt and go for Steven instead because ugh. To his credit I think he's trying to feel out the situation but her vague, roundabout answers made her look shady and like she has something to hide.
Next week the families are coming and Blimey, some of them sound even more money hungry than some of these women! It's going to be interesting.

Here we go! Everybody learns that the parents are coming.
Girls ... go clean up the pig sty they have been living in.
Guys ... get dressed. Well, Steven gets dressed. Kurt changes like a dozen times. He is a tad high maintenance for my tastes, not to mention, whipped. Not my type at all.

Annie's parents first. They look a tad confused and are going to be full of questions. They get a tour.
Whitney's folks. They seem much more comfortable with the situation. They tell her folks...she is Switzerland. We don't know which way she is leaning. Those folks look like fun and like they appreciate some booze.
Amber's dad and brother arrive. They don't look thrilled. Her poor dad is in tears.
Calah's mom is next.
Carolyn has her best friend Alex arrive. Shocked that she wouldn't have her folks.
Breanna's parents.
Amanda's mom and sister. Now we know where Amanda gets her sense of humour from. Mom is hilarious.
Time to drop the money bomb shell.
Seems that Amanda's family is loaded and she is hiding how much they have!

Annie's folks are shooting questions right and left. They both agree that they think Steven has the $.
Annie's friend asks Kurt why Carolyn. He can't help himself. His eyes are drawn to her and it's been like that from the beginning. So shallow. Her friend laughs and says since Kurt is off limits, he hopes it's Steven. He is a bit flirty and frankly seems more fun than she is.
Both of them say that Calah seems more in her element with her mom around and are hoping that she opens up more.
Amber's dad asks what they think of Amber and brother asks if they can see themselves with her. Both look skeptical. The guys wanted to see the fun side of Amber and after meeting her family, they realize there isn't much fun there. It is serious/intense all the time. She says mom is even worse. She would chew them up. I think her family killed any chance she had ... which was minimal before. I wouldn't be surprised if she went home tonight. They think Kurt is the rich one.
Amanda's mom asks what drew them to Amanda. They say laughter. True ... but they are missing chemistry IMO. That is why, no matter how much Kurt likes her, Carolyn always gets picked over her. The little head always wins. Mom asks how they would feel if she had more $? Guys seem surprised. Amanda is a trust fund kid left from grandpa. Says people judge and she lives humbly. She really seems down to earth and normal. Probably why I like her. Kurt says money comes and goes, but your true persona is what matters. He appreciates that they don't seem money hungry. OMG Her mom asks who has good stamina and Steven admits he doesn't. She says she wants lots of grandchildren, he says stamina has nothing to do with that. True.
Breanna's folks are embarrassing her even more and Steven was hoping she would relax with them there, but he realizes she is insecure around them as well.
Whitney's folks asking questions about their work. Mom thinks Steven is the rich one. Whitney says she is feeling the connection with Kurt, but needs more time with Steven. To me it sounds as if the money is the deciding factor for her. Whoever has the cash would be the one she goes after. I'm not impressed, plus it is driving me crazy since she could be Rachel's twin (Matt's F1 from the Bachelor).

Guys turn to ask questions and they want dirt.
Nothing too hideous comes out. It just seems to reinforce their previous ideas about the ladies.
They go and chat with Amanda's family and are laughing so hard. Clearly they both really like them. Carolyn is naturally shooting daggers while watching. She needs to know where Kurt stands with regard to her ex and her son. Well, if she would simply answer his questions instead of getting p*ssed at him every time he tries to talk to her seriously about these things, she would have already had the answers. Her buddy goes over and asks how Kurt would handle this and Kurt is honest and says he doesn't know because she never answers and always gets mad when he wants to realistically discuss the logistics.
Annie's dad is asking Steven about how the long distance would work. Steven is trying to answer as honestly as he can without spilling that he is the one with cash. They need to have a timeline for how long and then have a plan. He is really trying to show how sincerely interested he is about Annie.
Both guys admit that meeting the families has influenced their decision ... heavily!

Girls seem surprised that there will be an elimination.
Guys are deliberating.
Steven says he could see how upset Kurt was with not getting to meet any of Carolyn's family and Kurt admits that he is left with more questions than answers. Beyond his gut feeling, he knows nothing about her. Listen to your gut and not your pen*s!!!
Poor Steven is so frustrated at not being able to tell the whole truth to Annie's dad. That really felt most like an actual meet the family situation.
Both guys seemed happy to see Calah open up a bit more with her mom around, but both admit it has taken a long time. Too little, too late.
Breanna small town girl, but all the insecurities seem to be getting a bit much for both of them.
Amber is sweet and both were intimidated by her brother with all his questions, even thought both admit he is a great guy.
Carolyn says she is the most uncertain tonight. Whitney's parents apologized if she gets eliminated because of them.
Staying...Whitney, Annie, Carolyn, Amanda, Amber.
Calah and Breanna left and Calah stays...just.
Breanna is gone.
Steven is trying to share with her that he wanted to try dating someone different. He thinks he has grown during this process and she on the other hand, seems to have almost withdrawn back into her shell. He is so nice.
Next week...ladies are meeting the guys moms in their hometowns...Charlotte and Missouri.
Kurt's mom sees Carolyn just like his last three relationships. Jeeze the guy really doesn't learn.
Steven is telling his family to take off the Rolex's!
This should be good.

Why am I not surprised that Carolyn had no family there? Something is just off with her.
I loved that Steven had enough insight to know that he didn't want to repeat old patterns and let Breanna go. She was her own worst enemy.
Then next week Kurt's mom says that he's doing the same thing he's done in the past - he really doesn't learn.
I saw a comment on Twitter last night that this one "meet the family" episode was more fun than any of the 26 Bachelor seasons, and they weren't lying.

The casting, the format, the self awareness.. It isn't trying to be something its not. I like the honesty from the women and the men with each other and in the confessionals. Whatever it is, I am here for it and hope they make another season.
