This is really heartbreaking, and unnatural. Parents shouldn't have to bury their children. Apparently he was her fav too. She absolutely adored him.

How very, very sad. It seems sadness just runs in some families, and nothing can be done..

I came here to post about her death too. So very sad to hear about this. It does make me wonder if their Scientology religion got in the way of seeking the proper medical attention. I hope not

The article says that she kept her illness private. Her poor kids 57 is just painfully young. I just read about Kelly Preston's death too. So very sad. She seemed like such a lovely lady, and they seem like such a loving family. This Instagram posting from her daughter, Ella, just breaks my heart: "I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you. Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy. Thank you for being there for me no matter what. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your help and thank you for making this world a better place. You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always. I love you so much mama.❤️"

I'm shocked about Kelly Preston. Her son Benjamin is only 10 years old. She's now reunited with her beloved son Jett. John has experienced a lot of loss in his life. A parent should never have to bury his child. This is the second love John has lost to breast cancer; when he was very young he was with the actress Diana Hyland who also succumbed. I do hope that Kelly pursued all medical avenues to fight this disease; I don't know Scientology's stance on Western medicine. I liked both her and John even though they were Scientologists. They were private about it. I'm sad for their family. Rest peacefully, Kelly.

I came here to post about her death too. So very sad to hear about this. It does make me wonder if their Scientology religion got in the way of seeking the proper medical attention. I hope not In his instagram post John made sure to thank the hospital where she got care. I looked it up and it's the leading cancer hospital in the U.S. I think after his experience with Diana Hyland he didn't mess about when it came to his wife's care.

It's very sad. I am glad, though, that they found her body. I think it will help her family to have that resolution, even though it means the end of hope that she might have survived.

So sad. He helped make physics fun. Not only fun but understandable to all. If I had more instructors like him in high school I may have taken more STEM type classes. I loved Science but sometimes the teachers did not teach to the person but the class. Grant had a way to make it fun, easy, and relatable.. I will miss him greatly, he truly had a gift.

A group of Glee cast members went to Lake Piru yesterday to say goodbye
I didn't realize that yesterday - the day they found her - was the 7th anniversary of Cory Monteith's death.

I just can’t with Naya😭 I loved Glee; but she was easily my favorite cast member. I’m so glad she was able to save her son.

I am not a big science person, pretty much the only "science" I liked was microbiology. I did have a wonderful chemistry teacher who really made learning fun, I did well in that class. The next semester, I took Chem 2 and nearly failed, finally I actually failed Organic Chemistry. As for physics, I don't think I appreciated it as much as I should have, but I passed.

They were both swimming and she got him back on the boat. They also said the boat was not anchored. I think people totally underestimate how tiring swimming is, and how easy it is to panic when caught in a current. She was not wearing a safety vest either.

I thought I read that the boat was drifting and that she would have had to exert a fair amount of effort to get him back into the boat. (But I guess we'll never really know what happened for sure.)

I read a bit of both.. that the boat was drifting, she was able to push her son up in the boat (maybe he said something to indicate this as well) and that there are many factors that can be attributed as to why she drowned. Higher muscle mass vs fat in the body makes it hard to float for longer periods of time, muscle cramps in the legs, lake water temp, etc. I did see that one of the recovery divers said there are no rip currents or whirlpools in the lake but another said there can be.. so I dont know.. and we may never sadly
