Yes they were mobile. Was surprised to that she had ok clothes and a job.
Her trailer was scary, the shower shudder....
That was a lot of spaghetti in that bowl but I find spaghetti doesn’t fill me either like other pastas. The processed micro wave chicken doesn’t cut it either.
It is good that they did the diet together but I didn’t get why he was eating a hamburger in front of her either. He really doesn’t look like he lost that much. His face didn’t even go down like in most people that lose weight.
I feel for her daughter , she is following in her foot steps.

I find this show horriffic.
Many of the folks that have episodes on this show have died per TMZ.
What I don't understand is how can TMZ call anyone a star when they have only done one episode on this show?
How many 600lb can there be in this country?

Eight participants have died out of over 100 (110 episodes, but a few people got two episodes), which I'd guess is lower than it would have been if they hadn't done the series. One death was by suicide. IMO, that's not bad for nearly a decade of the show. 600+lb people tend to not live so long. I prefer to look at it as a bunch of folks lost enough weight to lengthen their lives!
I think there are far more people at 600lbs or more than any of us could guess.

The best part of last night's episode was seeing Dr. Now driving. Aw, who am I kidding, that was the only good thing in last night's episode. I fully expected the sad music to start near the end with an announcement that Cindy had died of heart failure. She won't live long. All she wanted to do was sit in her little bubble at home with her toxic "caretaker" and eat herself to death. They should make these kinds of episodes only an hour...120 minutes of whining and excuses and doing nothing gets on ALL my nerves.

There was something really off last night. Sandy really wanted her there but didn’t get her a bed , there was nothing in her room to make her welcome just a large mirror to see herself sitting in that chair. Cindy didn’t even lose any weight there either with Sandy feeding her. Didn’t see any deliveries. Maybe Sandy’s husband was feeding her. Poor woman couldn’t even make it thru there bathroom door.
I think she was getting paid for her being there, can’t think of any other reason.
Only thing that would help her was to keep her in but she lost 100 pounds before doing that and gained it all back.
Wonder how long it took them with the shower than hair etc to get her in the ambulance and than call for back up.

Is anybody ever going to actually get surgery this season? People were joking on Twitter that every time they came back from a commercial, there were new kids living in the house. That was WAY too many people to be living in that doublewide.

I have never seen so much garlic bread on one table.
I honestly thought Krystal was a guy when the show first started - I can't imagine dealing with that PCOS-caused facial hair. Add in the awful abuse as a child, depression, and her odd husband who seemed checked out the whole episode, and it was another two hours of nothing positive happening. Sigh.
Also: sad, wilted "salads" covered in cut up deli ham and dressing and bacon and eggs aren't on de diet plan. Geez.

I the garlic bread got me too and that huge red bowl she used for everything.
He probably gave her break because of her depression and PCOS. Some hormone drugs puts weight on. I have PCOS and am so happy I got electrolysis when younger on my chin. Mind you I still yet hair on my chin that I pluck now. My neck is the worse. My hair is very thin as well and balding. I so want to use Rogain but it says it will make you gain weight. Nope not happening , I might have to buy a wig.
Wonder if we will see her again. She at least was moving around some what but even when she loses the weight she is in for a lot of skin removal.
Are we ever going to see anyone that is going to have surgery. Where is Lola I miss her...lol

I know Lola's been doing a lot of stuff on her own - YouTube content and some other wellness stuff she's working on. Maybe she's been too busy for 600 Pound Life. I always looked forward to her different wigs and looks. I don't mind Dr. Paradise, though, he seems pretty good at what he does. With so many not-so-successful stories, they do need to do some follow ups later on...

Poor Issac, another one who's going to fail. Tossed away a full scholarship to stay home and take care of his "sick" mom, who didn't seem to be struggling one bit. Never mind that there were twenty other people in that house to help out.
He seemed like a really sweet kid, but that family is going to wreck him.

He seems like a nice man but he is stuck in a dynamic that will kill him in the end.

I couldn’t believe he was the oldest of the bunch of siblings at 23. That explains the one brother talking about the food and not looking thrilled to go with the family to the park when he got I in the back seat.
Can’t believe they had him take a taxi twice , was that $666. One way...why didn’t the father rent a car the second time. Must say he has a great dad for going with him and support him.
Glad Dr Now told him to stop using his mom as an excuse. Hope he does get surgery.

What an odd couple last night. Michael was so negative and dramatic, and his wife talked to him like he was a toddler. Of course the episode ended with a walk in the park, a pretty speech, and no surgery performed. The Burning of the Meats in the backyard had me rolling. Did you really have to roast the Tupperware with the bacon and sausage? There must have been someone they could have donated that food to. And that's the second mountain of garlic bread we've seen this season.

Yes these people love their garlic bread.
Yes she baby talked him the whole show. Why would a 17 and 12 year old need a babysitter ? They were only 45 minutes away.
He said he didn’t look that big when he was younger as he said, mind you he is pretty tall. Than he said he never drove in 2 years but the seat was down when he got in and told Dr Now he drove his wife to the store. But yet he can’t go outside with his kids. Crazy.
Dr Paradice sure had his number and was onto his excuses. It is very sad if he was abused by a scout leader but I think he has other problems.
We haven’t seen anyone get surgery yet.

Poor Shannon looked like the Michelin Man. There was nowhere left for her body to store fat!
When her husband set those two huge plates of breakfast down, I thought one was for him. Nope, Shannon ate them both. The way she leered at food was creepy...
Another one I have no hope for.

Oh, man. What to say about last night's show. That opening eating scene was probably one of the most revolting I've seen. Irene just sitting there full commando, cooch hanging out for all to see, inhaling a Popeye's family meal then three Whoppers topped with ten pounds of fries and ketchup...food all over her face, chest, clothes, the couch, the floor...come on. I won't even get into the cough that disappeared the second Dr. Now left the room, or the daily "black outs" that never happened.

Where do they find these people, I imagine they have "casting calls" or contact Dr Now for a list of potential characters..I dunno!
I switched over half way through last night...was this woman sitting down with her privates exposed while her son was in the same room???? I had to turn it off...way too much for me. I am tapping out.

So I have noticed this season, aside from NO ONE getting any surgery, the person leaves their initial visit to Dr. Now and goes home and we see them eat something much healthier than their prior choices, like an egg white omelet or salad with grilled chicken. Then in the next scene they are arriving for the second appointment with a voice over talking about how hard they worked and I am thinking "hey, they don't look like they lost much, but I saw them eating salad and egg white omelets" And they get on the scale and lost 2 pounds. But I didn't see the behavior that led to them losing only 2 pounds.
In the old seasons, you would have seen them stop at the fast food place on the way home from Dr Now, then you would have seen a pizza delivery, and the sister or cousin bring over 3 buckets of chicken. All while the voice over is talking about how hard they are working. And I would be thinking "I wonder what the scale is going to say on their next appointment" But when they got to Dr Now's again and lost 2 pounds or even gained, I had seen why, instead of thinking they were eating salad and working so hard

I know in this week's case when she and her friend were cooking their "healthy" chicken and broccoli (with too much oil), you could see in the fridge for a second. Lo and behold, there was a box of Popeye's, a Domino's pizza box, and I think a box of Dunkin Donuts. I've seen other episodes where there were bottles of soda, chips, and the usual junk food still laying around. They might not show them cheating on the diet, but they're cheating.

I am sure they are cheating big time, or else they would lose more than 2 pounds in 2 months. I think I just preferred it when they left no doubt about the cause of the failure. Like a cautionary tale. "You eat a lot of THIS, the scale will do THIS!

Like a cautionary tale. "You eat a lot of THIS, the scale will do THIS! For someone of that size to lose only 2 pounds in 2 months, they are STILL eating 5 times what most people eat in a day. But "it's hard" to cut down from eating 6 times what most people eat daily to "only" 5 times. If you don't believe me, ask any of these poundicipants. LOL.

Chrystal: I worked so hard, how did I not lose more weight?
Also Chrystal, rolling up to the drive-thru: can I get three sausage burritos, two cinnamon rolls, a #1 combo, some hash browns, oh and two blueberry muffins...
I didn't like her a whole lot, mainly because I hate seeing kids being caretakers and basically running the house while their mom scarfs two packs of bacon and a plateful of pancakes drowned in syrup, butter, and whipped cream for breakfast while roaches crawl on the wall behind her. That's no way for those girls to live, and they looked miserable.
I was pretty much done after the hotel fiasco, with all the dramatics over getting in the elevator and wanting to go to the hospital over a little boo-boo on her finger and wailing about how that nice hotel was a death trap. I rolled my eyes so hard I almost time traveled.
And how do you have a BMI of 123??! I know she was short, but holy cow.

I am sure that "nice" hotel was thrilled that she brought roaches into their hotel, trust me she did. I skeeved when I saw them crawling up her walls.
Let me edit to say: my son works in pest control, the stories he can tell. Those roaches didn't just stay in San Diego.

IIRC, she's like 4'11". Still an insanely high BMI, but not as high someone weighing around 600lbs who's of even average height.
I'm always amazed at how horribly these people speak to their loved ones. It's like they haven't learned to manage their emotions AND they think those people will never leave them. All of the children who have to take care of these parents have dead eyes. It's heartbreaking.
Yeah, I'm sure the folks at that hotel had to call an exterminator once she and her family checked out. Blech.

After a whole d@mned season of failure after failure, it was nice to see Justin succeed in that Where Are They Now? episode. He really did look like a different person!
As for Maja, it's the same old story. "I'm working hard and barely eating anything" and yet she isn't losing weight. To me, she looks almost exactly the same. What's the point of going through all that if you're not actually going to do the work?
