Yeah. I'm beginning to think that there was some truth to the quiet rumor that he was uninvited to the wedding, and the heart attack story was put out there for him to save face. I don't blame Meaghan if that was the case. I wouldn't blame her one bit.

Dress is swamping her again😬 who’s doing the fittings on this poor girl 🙈 #harryandmeghan #toobig #RoyalWedding #duchessofsussex #MeghanMarkle #needsanewstylist
I don't think that's mocking, it's pretty much what I said.. A lot of tweets are like that..just saying the dress is swallowing her. Kate went through the same thing, when she purchased cheaper clothes..gotta toughen up to be a royal..

I like everything about Meghan's dress but the midsection. If the bodice was more fitted, the loose sleeves and flowy skirt would be great and it would balance out better. The top is too blouse-y, which makes it look like she's drowning in it. A slimmer cut through the waste would have solved all of that. Lady Kitty Spencer is a total fashion plate. LOVE her dress at the wedding! As for another of Meghan's charming family making money off their connection, she's well rid of them. Total trash

All I can say is that if the real members of Meghan's family and the actual British Royal family were written as a sit-com, NOBODY WOULD BELIEVE any of it. It's like the 'perfect storm' of UNlikely people and events. PS And I have to add my 2 cents to that dress that Meghan wore to the wedding --- To me, it was hideous! I can't imagine what she was thinking? (Especially during the fitting. . .)

I hope she doesn't get any thinner, maybe it's me, but she looks like she needs a good meal..

What bothered me that it was a wrap dress in filmy fabric and it was windy. I bet inside it lay just right around her legs.

I always go to the British news sources - usually DM - when it's an article about the Royals because they include tons of pics, and I need to see the dress from ALL angles!

In the video on the USA today article about Royal Ascot, it said that this was also the Royal Ascot debut for Sophie, Countess of Wessex (Edward's wife). How is that possible. They've been married for 19 years.
I was thinking that Edward had been born late and was kind of raised by himself with all of his siblings being much older and that this was why he seemed so invisible, but the big space of nine years ago is between Anne and Andrew. Andrew and Edward are only four years apart. I must have thought Andrew was older because Fergie and Diana were about the same age, but I guess it was really just a matter of Charles marrying someone much younger.

I loved the hat, as well. It was fabulous and it made her eyes pop.

I go to the Daily Mail to see the pictures. Sometimes I am brave enough to read the comments.

I thought I was going to be the only one saying how much I loved Meghan's hat. So glad to see you all like it too. It really was stunning! And I loved that she was wearing an all white dress. The dress itself was okay, but more importantly, it made the hat look that much classier. Great combination! And I do have to say, whatever we may think of Meghan, or her family, or whatever, I think WATCHING her and commenting on how she looks (and what she's wearing) will probably be the most fun of all!

Yes, I heard the same thing, and that he felt it was an 'honor' to wear that uniform to his wedding. Although I haven't totally forgiven Harry for some of his very bad choices in life ( like his wearing the Nazi uniform one Halloween several years ago) -- I do respect his service in the military and his choice of uniform for his wedding. It was over 13 years ago (around January 2005), when he was 20. I feel like he's done enough in his life since then to deserve a little forgiveness over being a stupid, thoughtless kid. When I think of some of the stupid stuff I did around that age, it makes me glad I'm not famous. A swing and a miss for both of Megan's dresses. The first one looks like she's in a straight jacket, especially when she bends over. The second looks like she's wearing a bathrobe. Her Majesty looks impeccable, as always, and Harry looks quite good all dressed up. Speaking of which, the Royals are forbidden from commenting on British politics (at least in public). Therefore, I really, really doubt that Harry would go spouting off about American politics like that. This article says it all about her family: Basically, her mother is the only one with class. I can totally believe that the story about her father's illness was just a cover for his embarrassment at not being invited.
Edited to add: Just saw the Ascot pictures. That's much better. And that top hat. I love a man in a top hat...

Meghan looks absolutely stunning in those pics. Face, hair, dress, SHOES - all on point! I think she's being very smart by dressing mostly in neutrals. Firstly, they're very flattering with her skin and hair, but secondly (and more importantly), that muted palette allows the Queen to really stand out in her bright colors. It's a nice bit of deference, IMO.
I got a giggle out of how the DM actually captioned one of the pics with "The Queen (third left)" like no one could have picked her out otherwise
I guess the comparisons to Catherine are inevitable, but I hate that the media can't just let them be themselves. Just because Meghan opted for wavy hair, it doesn't mean she's copying her sil. There are only so many appropriate hairstyles for a young royal. There's bound to be some overlap!
I did notice that Meghan is crossing her legs in some of those pics, which is a big no-no. She's still learning. I know I'd have a hard time breaking myself of that habit!

I would like her to move beyond neutral tones but in this particular case, I thought she looked really pretty! (Maybe next time a tad less blush, though, so her complexion can shine through.)
Here is my concern: Why does Harry look so glum in most of the photos?! He's a newlywed!

Totally agree, Meghan does look stunning in these photos. (And I wondered about the leg crossing, too.) I think it's pretty safe to say that we (the public) may never love Meghan the way we loved Diana, but I think for sure that we're going to enjoy WATCHING her as much as we loved watching Diana, maybe even more. There's something about Meghan -- I don't know what it is, but you kinda can't keep your eyes off of her, no matter whether she's wearing something you like or you don't like. Maybe that's the elusive 'IT' factor. I don't know, but it's definitely something!!!

I'm all in except for those shoes. How long did she have to stand in them? 4 (or 5?) inch spikes shouldn't be encouraged.
