XFinity got Peacock Premium, so I've watched a few original series. First was Five Bedrooms - Aussie drama about friends/acquaintances who buy a house together. Hilarity and DRAMA ensue. Fun, lighthearted, like many Aussie shows.
I also checked out the new Brave New World series. It was good, but not great. Worth the watch (especially in the current dearth of new TV content) IMO, but probably not going to win any awards. It stars Jessica Brown Findlay, Harry Lloyd and Alden Ehrenreich. So, if you've ever wanted to see a brooding Viserys Targaryen lust (maybe) after Lady Sybil, while she gets it on with Han Solo well, this is your chance
I just started Young Wallander on Netflix. Like it sounds - prequel series to Wallander. The lead actor looks so much like Jonathan Groff that it's actually a bit distracting.

OK Crit, that has to be one of the oddest reviews I have ever read, lol.. but it did make me go look the show up. Seeing Niklaus is in it, well now I MAY have to check it out.

Finally finished binging the third season of MasterChef Australia on Tubi, the longest season of that show at a whopping 86 episodes. I was gonna move to season 1 next, but then Tubi also put seasons 5, 6 and 7, so I've jumped immediately into the 7th one, as it's the one that features the now iconic Reynold, the King Of Desserts, so I just have to watch it.

Schitt's Creek - final season. Truly a gem of a show. Already missing theses characters.
Bosch - Yep I'm hooked. I seem to always be late to the party on these great shows but glad I found it. Binged all six seasons in a week. Very gritty and complex characters and I laughed more than I thought I would.

Is it a case of a week type of show or does it focus on one main investigation each season?

It's not a case of the week type of show. There are usually several cases going on at once and they last the whole season. So, you do get into the characters more since they spend more time on unraveling the case and when you think one thing, it tends to go the opposite. Some good twists and turns, some predictable but overall just a good homicide police drama.

In the middle of binge watching Ken Burns 'Baseball.' It's from 1994 so it is a bit out of date. However, it's beautifully made to show how baseball, the most American sport, is a reflection of this country, good and bad, over the last 200 years.

For anyone that likes British Dramady & has Hulu, I'd like to make a suggestion. There is a show called New Tricks. It is about 3 retired police detectives that are called back to join a new department to look into & solve cold cases. It has all the Brit wit & some really good & previously (to me at least) unknown performers. Give it a go, I think you'll enjoy it.

The Raised By Wolves finale was 60 minutes of the absolute weirdest TV I've ever watched. I'm glad there's a second season coming, I have many questions...
I'm also halfway through The Murders at White House Farm, a true crime drama that's really well done so far.
Both of these are on HBO Max.

Darn HBO creating all these interesting shows. I've never subscribed and now can't afford another subscription - so darn them!

Another HBO Max gem is Love Life with Anna Kendrick - Darby Carter searches for love throughout her 20s and 30s, often in all the wrong places, while the people she meets along the way leave a lasting impression. It a light, cute, funny series.

The West Wing. I never saw it before, but I love Allison Janney in Mom and Martin Sheen in Grace and Frankie. Besides, those darn SingleCare commercials made me give West Wing a try. It's very well written. Smart. Over my head at times, but that's okay. I love a challenge. I wonder how Rob Lowe felt playing the role of a Democrat.

It is funny you say you've never seen it.. nor have I, but it has been on my want to watch list for a while. Heck even my daughter has seen a good portion of it since her AP Gov class in high school had to watch like 2 seasons of it, lol. For me this is kinda like Hamilton.. a friend of mine was shocked I never saw it, as a politics and history lover I am, I was sooo not on the bandwagon for that when it came out years ago and just watched in on Disney+. I may take this to the top of my list when this semester is over in December and I have time... i want to pay attention to it when I do watch.

I was so happy when I saw that they were bringing Dexter back for a short run - I wonder if he'll still be a lumberjack or will that hideous finale all be a bad dream?

I was watching the show animal kingdom and they were doing a robbery on a ship by using basically clear masks. If they are trying to protect their identities from the many passengers, why use see through masks? That was a little confusing, unless I missed something

I think the Moose in the opening is what got me. I ordered the DVD for season 1 - it looked the safest purchase from the comments.

I think the Moose in the opening is what got me. I ordered the DVD for season 1 - it looked the safest purchase from the comments. Of the 6 total seasons, 5 of them are classic TV and fine to purchase. The final season is when Rob Morrow took a backseat (and eventually left) and new cast members were added, and the brilliance of the show slowly faded. But even the worst season of NE is better than most TV out there.

Has anyone watched “a show called “Manifest”? Its on Hulu but think it’s from one of the mainstream stations, maybe ABC. It’s a sci-fi ish story about a plane that disappears for 5 1/2 years and then suddenly reappears. I’ve watched about three or four episodes and wonder if it’s worth watching the rest. I’m kind of liking it but it’s going off on a tangent or what seems like one about nefarious gov experiments on some of the passengers. The stupid ones where they have electrodes attached to their heads and are given high intensity shock treatment type pulses. As if that would’ve some sort of viable experiment.
I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth any more time.

The 7th and last season of Agents of Shield dropped on Netflix. I'm re-watching and enjoying it now that it has been awhile coming.

I liked The Undoing, but yeah, those last ten minutes or so could have been a little better. I didn't mind that the ending was the obvious one - we're so used to twists and crazy endings that it was sort of refreshing to NOT have a twist. I was pretty impressed by Hugh Grant, too. And could someone please get Donald Sutherland's eyebrows under control? Yikes.

I was a little late to the party with The Undoing, but started it last week and binged it all weekend. I thought it was great. I feel like i need to go watch Notting Hill or Love Actually now just to detox on how incredibly well Hugh Grant played such a horrible man!

Bingeing my way through Hart of Dixie as quickly as possible so that I can get through all 3 1/2 seasons before it leaves Netflix on December 14. The characters have really grown on me. Gonna miss it when I'm done.
