All episodes of the latest season of C.B. Strike are out on HBO Max. It's been so long since I watched the previous seasons, that I'm starting back at the beginning. LOVE Tom Burke and Holliday Granger together!

Finished up season two of Your Honor. The first couple episodes were kind of losing me, but then it really ramped up and got good again. I read that there won't be a season three.

I binged 'Not Dead Yet' on Hulu and really love this show. It has a very "God Friended Me" vibe, except less schmaltzy. It's a great feel-good show that isn't dumb.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries on Acorn. I didn't realize the actress is the same that was in Babadook. The time period is between world wars in Australia. It really is plenty of fun and she is very modern.

She was Lady Crane in GOT - the actress who Arya was tasked will poisoning as one of the Faceless Men, but she couldn't do it. I think she's a natural blonde (or at least usually has blonde hair), so she does look quite different from Phryne Fisher in real life!
The modern murder mysteries series with Geraldine Hakewill is lots of fun too!

I liked the modern mysteries and finished that one before I started this. Both these shows have such a strong message on women.

I know they would never do that, but I sense chemistry between them.

Wow! I just finished binging Netflix's 7 DAYS OUT - What a surprising, enjoyable series!
Behind-the-scenes excitement and drama -- starting at 7 days prior to several major live events in the world of Outer Space, the Kentucky Derby, the Paris Chanel (Karl Lagerfeld) fashion show, the Westminster Dog Show, Video gamers League of Legends, and the opening of a world class restaurant.
Really fun to watch! Each episode is a different event, so you can watch some and not others, and you can watch them in any order you wish.

Poker Face - This is on Peacock. An crime drama starring the awesome Natasha Lyonne who can tell when someone is lying. Think crime of the week type of show. Really enjoyed this, it's quirky, funny and Natasha is fantastic as the lead. Lots of cameo's from famous people in guest roles. Also, the music is really phenomenal. Very eclectic.
The Night Agent - This is on Netflix. An FBI agent deals with lots of conspiracies and trying to find a mole in the US Government, while trying to protect a witness to a murder. I enjoyed the show, hubby did not. Our opinion, but the lead actor reminded us of a robot plugged into a wall. His range is very limited. Why do most shows like this always give the main role to a predictable muscley white guy? By the end of the show my husband kept yelling at the screen for him to go away. But if you can get past that, I thought the show had a lot of twists. The highlight was Hong Chao who played the White House Chief of Staff, Diane Farr. She was great.
Waco: American Apocalypse - This is on Netflix. New documentary on the Waco incident. I found this to be creepy. Some of the ex-cult members were interviewed and it seemed like they were still drinking the Kool-Aid on some things. This whole story is sad and watching it was a constant reminder on how it didn't have to end the way it did. Awfully sad.
Love is Blind (S4) - This is on Netflix. It's my guilty pleasure. People falling in love without seeing each other. This season was filled with mean girls and shake your head cringe moments. I loved every bit of it.
Lockwood & Co - This is on Netflix. Based on a series of books. A group of ghost teen hunters in present-day Britain. I loved this show but don't think it's going to get a 2nd season sadly from what I read. Great acting, some good jumps but nothing too scary. I think what I liked the most was they took time to have you really care about the main characters. You felt you were ghost hunting with them. Highly recommend.

I couldn't keep watching, though my husband did.

I'm loving 'Class of 2007' - women who attend a high school reunion are now trapped together in the apocalypse. Very funny, and love that it's Australian. It's on Amazon Prime.

It's super fun and even though it's a apocalypse/survivor trope, it's done differently. I'm so enjoying it!

I got sucked into a True Blood bingefest again and remembered how the first four seasons were TV gold. RIP, Nelsan Ellis, you are dearly missed.

They had a new season (season 3) in the UK just recently, not sure if you’re aware. Not sure when and where it is coming on in Canada.

I could only do the first season of Happy Valley because it really disturbed me. James Norton played his character so well that he completely creeped me out. Unfortunately I can't watch him in anything else because I associate him with that character, which is a shame because I hear he's equally good in other shows like Grantchester.

I'm watching The Way Home (Hallmark) too, and really enjoying it. This has been a lovely first season, and after the cliff-hanger ending, I'm soooo glad there's going to be a season two!
