Season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown - even better than the first season. Jeremy Renner is just fantastic.

I watched Black Snow on AMC+ with Travis Fimmel of Vikings fame as the lead detective on a cold case in Queensland. A time capsule is opened and there is evidence from a murder 25 years prior. It was so well done using many native first time actors. They didn’t tread lightly on the tough history of the sugar cane fields in that area either. It’s just 6 episodes, and it could have a 2nd season or not. I’d certainly watch more if they decided to continue the story.

I'm having a slow binge of Single Drunk Female. As in, I watch when I can actually remember to. 😂 At least two episodes at a time.

Yellowjackets, season 2 - the last couple of episodes were crazy. And how are they going to do that to one of my favorite characters?!

Since Comcast just announced that Peacock Premium will be longer be free for Concast subscribers starting on June 26th, I've been watching everything I can on Peacock.
I did the first season of Poker Face - LOVED IT. Now I'm watching Based on a True Story. It's just okay, but getting better. The episodes are short though, so I'm going to keep watching.

I started watching Based on a True Story. It's OK. I may try to finish it.
But what is this about not getting Peacock free? I don't know if it is worth paying for, so I might just let it go. I dunno

Clarkson Farm. We have laughed so hard, DH was raised on a farm he knows all the equipment. I think Clarkson getting lambs was hilarious, they are a lot of work.

I keep trying to watch things on Peacock, since Comcast is taking away Peacock Premium from my subscription on 6/26. Then I get sidetracked by something on another streaming channel. Seeing Michael Cimino on Never Have I Ever, reminded me that I never finished Love, Victor, so that's what I'm watching now. Such a sweet show.
I do have a few more things I want to watch on Peacock before that gets taken away. That's the last straw for me with Comcast, btw. I'm headed to a Comcast office probably next week to reduce my plan to nearly nothing. I think I'll be doing just the regular broadcast network channels. I've found that I hardly even watch things on cable any more. I'm almost always watching something on streaming and I could certainly watch pretty much everything on streaming. What isn't available on streaming is something, I guess, that I can do without.

That's funny that you mentioned Love Victor, because I just rewatched season 3 a few nights ago. Sweet show.

I started watching The Bear during the first season, but stopped two eps in because i wasn't getting into it. I decided to revisit it and I'm liking it so far. I'm weird like that.

My access to Peacock Premium cuts off tomorrow, so I'm getting in one last binge. I'm watching The Undeclared War about cyber intrigue between the UK and Russia post-Covid. Really good stuff with Mark Rylance in a small role. If they do a second season, I'll look forward to watching when Xfinity does one of its Watch-a-Thon events.

I just started The Cleaner on Britbox last night, with the hilarious Greg Davies. He plays a crime scene cleaner who meets various people - criminals and not - because of his work. The first episode co-starred Helena Bonham Carter, who was terrific. Greg Davies is so hilarious. I actually laughed out loud a few times, which doesn't happen very often - I'm a tough customer with comedy.
ETA: princesskim - you'll need to watch Better Call Saul once you finish Breaking Bad! It's equally brilliant and, in some ways, might even surpass BB (I know, blasphemy! ).

I dunno Peacock Premium was free to Xfinity/Comcast subscribers until yesterday. They sent an email notifying customers about the change a while back and then again this morning to tell us we didn't get it any more. Of course, we can PAY for it if we want. I think they were giving it away free until they finally got enough "good" programming to justify charging for it. They're not going to give you something that's actually worth anything.
If I ever end up paying for Peacock Premium, it'll be because I got rid of most of my cable service. Aside from some original programming, which I can watch during a Watch-a-thon, there's nothing on PP that I can't get elsewhere.
I'm still watching The Cleaner and OMG is Greg Davies hilarious. Not that many people can make me actually laugh out loud.

I started watching The Bear during the first season, but stopped two eps in because i wasn't getting into it. I decided to revisit it and I'm liking it so far. I'm weird like that. I've reacted the same way to some films and tv shows that I've started to watch and totally disliked. But then, after trying to watch those same ones again, I've actually liked them a lot. I wonder what makes the difference.

I was surprised at myself for not "getting it", based on all the praise it was receiving.

I'm going into the local Comcast office this weekend to downgrade my cable service, so I'm watching everything I can on premium channels I'm getting rid of. Right now, I'm watching Yellowjackets on Showtime.

OMG, Yellowjackets is BANANAS!My appointment with Comcast is tomorrow, so I only have today to finish all of the episodes.
This cast of actresses is SO good. I'm on episode 3 of the second season and am enjoying Elijah Wood. Looking forward to seeing Lauren Ambrose soon too! This may be my favorite thing I've ever seen Christina Ricci in. Misty is delightfully unhinged.

I just finished the latest season of Under the Vines on Acorn. Such a sweet show. I'm a sucker for Aussie and Kiwi series and I love Rebecca Gibney. Now I'm on the hunt for my next binge. The new season of The Summer I Turned Pretty just dropped on Prime Video, so that might be next.

I took a break from my binge of Justified to watch The Marriage Pact on the Roku Channel. It's a reality show with 6 couples who are friends (one couple dated, but then broke up and stayed friends), but at some point in their relationship, made a pact to get married if they weren't married by a certain age. Now they're together to see if a romantic relationship will work. I don't know if any of these couples will make it, but it's an interesting concept. The ages range from 22 to 43, so it's a broad range of experience and, of course, the 22-year old girl thinks she's the most mature

I'm rewatching Season 16 of Project Runway and damn, those twins were even more horrible than I remembered! Constantly trash talking the other designers (despite constantly being on the bottom themselves), the baldheaded one constantly having her sister complete her garments, the cheating...no wonder the other designers were happy as hell when they left. There was some real talent that season that got overshadowed by their constant BS. So glad the show is back on Bravo because the Lifetime years really leaned into the drama to the detriment of the design process.
