Anyone else gotten sucked into this show. I have to admit that I'm quite enjoying it. Kind of a cross between Big Brother and What's My Line. LOL Hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas, this new series challenges 12 celebrity relatives to step outside their famous family member's shadow and live together under one roof, concealing their identity and lineage in the quest for their own fame and fortune. They will compete in challenges, form alliances and play DNA detective in hopes of avoiding elimination and winning the coveted $100,000 prize, and staking their own "Claim to Fame"! "Claim to Fame" is produced by Kinetic Content ("Love Is Blind," "Married at First Sight") in association with Walt Disney Television's newly formed alternative production unit. Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler and Scott Teti serve as executive producers; Paul Osborne serves as the showrunner and executive producer, and Brian Smith serves as director and executive producer. abc.com/shows/claim-to-fame/about-the-showThere have been three episodes so far, and the celebrities that were revealed are big name people, so that's kind of fun. And it's fun trying to keep track of the clues and guess ahead about who people might be.

I'm actually watching episode 3 right now! Some of them are tough to guess, but a few are pretty easy. I mean, Louise looks exactly like her sister, Simone Biles and X looks just like his twin sister, Laverne Cox, even under all his makeup and hair. Others aren't so easy.
Pepper sounds just like Ashley Judd, but I think she's related to Dean Martin - the olive in episode two (and her talking about how you have to have an olive in a martini) was a big clue.

I agree that Pepper is related to Dean Martin. I'm trying to think of who else I've got guesses for. There are several 80s super models that Lark could be related to. It took me a while to see Laverne under X's makeup, but that laugh totally gave him away.
Brittany (is that Brett Favre's daughter's name) is sure playing a strong defensive game given that most people know who she is, but she overplayed last time by crossing LC, and I don't know how much longer she'll last. Louise is doing a much better job of low-key steering people toward other targets. It's fun to see the alliances and strategizing.
I did think it was cool the way X complimented Brittney on her game play on the way out, given that he'd been trying to get rid of her.
I'm curious what all of the Steven Spielberg clues are about. I was pretty sure that kid who left the first night wasn't young enough to be his grandchild, but who could be connected to him? And if no one is, what are all those clues for?

I find this compelling as well. I'm sorry to see X go. At first he frightened me, then I kept looking for him and his droll comments.
The Bros outed Whoopie's granddaughter on The View as part of promotion. They didn't say how she landed, but said she was doing well. Someone already figured her out, but she hasn't been in jeopardy yet.

This article has a spoilers about all of the cast. In some cases, they know the famous relative, but not HOW they're related. Claim to Fame spoilersWhen you know who Lark is related to, you can definitely see the resemblance! Same with LC. I did wonder if X dresses like that all the time or used the makeup, in particular, to disguise himself a bit. I mean, he and Laverne are twins. You're right though - that laugh gave him away! I do wonder how many of these people would even know who Dean Martin is. I think if Pepper goes home, it'll be because she guesses someone's claim to fame wrong and not because any of them figure out who her relative is. I didn't plan on watching this show, but it really sucked me in!

I'm horrible at this. I really thought the young kid was related to Spielberg - they have the same coloring.
That clue collage wall is fascinating especially when the camera spotlights different (relevant) items.

Critical , I wondered the same thing about X, but he actually does dress that way. He's a performer of some sort (I looked it up, but now I've forgotten what he does), and he calls his style Negro Goth. When I first saw him, I thought maybe he was trying to make us think he was related to Lenny Kravitz. LOL Arielflies , I thought the kids was related to Spielberg, too. He totally looked like he could be. But then I looked up the ages of his children, and unless the kid was about 16, none of Spielberg's kids are old enough to have a kid that age.

Yeah. Maxwell is old enough to be Spielberg's grandkid, but not his kid....unless he was NOT with Kate Capshaw (they're in their 70s and 60s, respectively). I didn't think the Spielberg guess was correct anyway. I didn't think he looked like SS, especially as a young man. SS and KC do have a son who's 36 and Jessica Capshaw is in her 40s, so he was the right age to be their kid. Still, when you look at pics of a young Chuck Norris, you see it.
Maybe Brittany is playing a good game, but I just don't like people who are manipulative like that. I want her gone. Also, I think her dad is a big douchebag, so I'm predisposed to not like her either.
I think they all keep Louise because they like her. It was clear who she was the moment they showed her face. She looks exactly like her sister, only taller!

Yeah. Louise looks exactly like Simone. If I were her and playing the game, my lie would have been to say that my sister was something other than an athlete. I do think they like her, but as someone (LC, maybe) said on the first episode, it's also a good to keep a sure-bet person like that around as a security blanket in case you're the guesser.
I agree about Brittany. I'm definitely not cheering her on with the dirty way she's playing, even if it is accomplishing what she needs it to do.

Wow! Tonight was a shocker! I thought for sure Kai was going home. I'm actually really confused, because I thought they showed video of Andra Day in that dress. (Of course, if I remembered half of what I read in the spoilers link Critical posted, I would have known that the dress belonged to someone else.) Dom is playing too aggressively. She thinks she's fooling everybody, but they're onto her. I hope L.C. and Logan and anyone else they talk to can let go of the idea that the Dom clue refers to Martin Luther King. He was long dead when the Million Man March happened in 1995, but even 1995 is ancient history for most of them, so maybe the '60s and the '90s feel almost equally as old.

who went home? I had to walk the dog. Brittany. Dom set her up to feel safe as the guesser by assuring her that Kia was Andra Day’s sister based on the dress. (She said Andra wore the dress when playing Billie Holiday. Brittany guessed wrong and went home.

This has been bugging me - no matter the "southern" roots and guitar, I think Logan is related to Tom Holland as a cousin or a brother. I did not and will NOT look at spoilers.
Any other spoiler free guesses?

Not from me. I’m totally spoiled. 😊
On a différent front, LC is really lucky that she looks so much like Lawrence Fishburne! That’s who I had her pegged as being related to just based on how she looked, so I was really surprise when she said that she was Keke Palmer’s sister.

I recognized Kai's dress because her "person" wore something similar at multiple awards shows. It sort of became a thing.
Glad to see Brittany go. She claimed to not have been manipulating people, but I just didn't believe her.
Unless Pepper is put up to guess and guesses wrong, she's going to be there until the end. I'd bet the majority of people haven't even heard of the person she's related to (can't remember if they revealed it in this last episode, so I won't).
I think LC actually looks a lot like her sister. I wondered if she's using the blonde hair to throw people off the resemblance.

I'm pretty sure that Pepper has said who her person is, but I can't swear to it, so I won't say. The martini clue for her in the second show was a pretty clear clue for anyone from our generation, but you're right that younger people wouldn't have any idea who he is unless they're into retro culture from that era.

Wow! Tense and exciting show tonight! I'll wait to say more!
Louise's clue for Kai = Funny Woman in Girl's Trip.
These are the clues I remember from the game. Any non-spoiled guesses about what they mean? The ones I put in parentheses have been talked about here or on talked about in the show. Even spoiled, I don’t have guesses about what the others mean. LOL
Las Vegas rat (Has to be Dean Martin, no?) Something about a cat Bourbon Sermon (Al Sharpton) Colorful hat
Girl who said nope (Keke Palmer) Red car with rope Jokes for shock Gold lock Friends with pope (Whoopi Goldberg)

The gold lock would be Simone, wouldn't it? She's a lock for all the gold medals. I like this show too, but started to get a little tired of the heavy-handedness of some of the players: LC and Dom especially. When someone (Kai?) said there are people who've never even spoken to her, and others, I felt bad for them. It's not a huge group! They should all be able to talk and be social, but apparently some are really into the game. I'm not spoiled, so I have no idea who most of them are who are left (except for Simone's and Whoopie's). Brett Favre was one of my team's best quarterbacks and I didn't even recognize his daughter! But once I found out, sure enough, that looks like her. The country singer guy really puzzles me. I feel like I should know who he is too.

I think you’re right about that being Simone.
I’m guessing not all of the clues are meaningful. Didn’t Kevin and Frankie (is that his name?) say they were going to throw some extra clues in just for fun?

Robin could definitely win this whole thing if she can just keep from being the guesser again. The others have all the info they need and still don’t have a clue who her person is.

I finally caught up. Whew.
I never would have guessed X, but I never watched OITNB and wouldn't know Lavern Cox if she was right in front of me.
Dom, I am actually glad she is gone. I did not like her one bit, she was too manipulative for my liking. Before the Million Man March clue, I would have sworn she was related to Loni Love, it's the eyes. Glad L.C. didn't try to guess when she was stuck on MLK. Shoot, both of those episodes made me feel old, it seemed like none of them knew MLK was dead before the MMM.
Logan, no clue. The black cowboy hat made me think of Clint Black.
I think Pepper is related to Dean Martin, as well.
This is a fun show.

I wonder how long it will take them to figure out the Keke connection now that LC has eliminated Laurence Fishburne as her person. I figured they’d get it with the “girl who said Nope” clue on the last episode. P. S. dagwood, lots of people thought Dom was related to Loni Love. That was the main guess before some sleuthers found a picture of her with Al Sharpton.

Just got caught up. Great show! All my personal guesses were wrong, I thought Loni Love for Dom and Lawrence Fishburn for LC, LOl! Also Shelly Duvall for Pepper but she doesn't have any kids. Who the heck is Logan? CANNOT figure him out!

I don’t have a clue on Logan, either, but I also don’t know much about country music.
I thought maybe the bourbon clue last week had something to do with him. Is there a county song about bourbon that his relative might sing?

I've seen the spoilers, so I know who people think Logan's claim to fame is. I hate country music, so unless he was the spitting image of Willie Nelson or something, I'd have NO clue. I do know the name of the person he's supposedly related to, but mainly because they've been in articles on TMZ.
I'm a week behind, but I know who got eliminated. Did they show pics of Tiffany Haddish in that white gown? I don't remember how many awards shows she wore it to, but she definitely got her moneys worth. It became a thing.
