Yeah. President Carter was 40 when Amy was born. Things can definitely be weird for "late life" bonus babies. I had aa friend who had a nephew who was older than she was. Wow, that just hit me. So Amy is his mother? It would be funny if he used her as his famous relative. That would make guessing that much more difficult. Still don't like him much. I find it funny Jane picked the one that she was sure of over the one that she wasn't 100% on and got it so wrong. If she had taken that stab at Hugo, she would still be in there. And I love how when she said Elvis, the rest seemed so starstruck. I have a feeling the reaction won't be quite so big when he is really revealed. Haha! You're probably right. Hugo is a bit different and has some strange mannerisms that seem off-putting, but I noticed this week that a lot of people in the house seem to really like him, which I found interesting.

The Jonas brothers will definitely know how big Dad is.

Loved this one! I give Cole credit for turning on the girl who was flirting with him to keep him on her side, good for him because her celebrity was a sure thing. But now Monay is after him, and others are acting all shocked and upset, sounding like they're targeting him. I think it was great! She and Monay were way too smug.
And I have to laugh that their guess is wrong about Karsyn, considering that they're so overconfident. But Chris blabbing it to everyone is going to get him in trouble (with her at least).
These clues, though! What on earth? Even though I know Karsyn's person, only parts of her clue make sense. Hugo's only had one picture that made sense to me (farmer). The gold trophies during the blindfold challenge were weird: either super easy (tire, burger), or seemingly random (cheese for Alicia Keys??). Whose was shrimp, or sheep, or dragon?

I was sure he was going to pick Karsyn, I loved that he picked Shayne! She and Monay are definitely too smug.

Yes! This was a fun one! I too loved that Cole picked Shayne! Shoot she thought she had him in her back pocket - he actually might have been playing her a bit, same as she was playing him. In any case, the editing was great this episode.

I’m glad he picked Shayne. From some of the faces she made in her ITMs, it looked like she might have been setting him up to guess wrong like they did with Jane.
Shayne and Monay made a big mistake by gloating about getting Jane out that way. They should have told everyone that they genuinely thought that was the right guess. If they’d done that, Shayne might still be there.

Some of them are extremely harsh regarding Cole guessing Shayne's celebrity! It IS the game, gosh. There are new things on the wall, and someone sees there are keys and made a connection to Alicia Keys. Then they're thinking someone's related to Jim Carrey because of the Ace. They're playing the telephone game. haha - this should be good.

There really are a lot of clues that seem to point to Him Carey. It’s hilarious that they think he’s Chris’s relative, but I can kind of see how they think there’s a resemblance.
I thought for sure that Karsyn was going to choose Chris and guess that. Good thing she went with Cole instead. It was smart of her to get him to show her the clue for her relative before her left.
JR did a great job of deciphering Monay’s clue. Impressive! Too bad he doesn’t know more about Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Did I imagine it, or was one of the new clues on the board an Angel Moroni like on the Mormon Temples and on the cover of The Book of Mormon. If so, that’s such a Osmond clue.
P.S. I went back and looked, and there was definitely an Angel Moroni at the top center of the board. My Utah-girl eyes did not deceive me. LOL. In the past, that might have been too obscure, but with The Book of Mormon musical, I think a lot more people are familiar with it. It certainly seemed to upset Chris.

I don't think Chris has anything to worry about. I see him winning. I thought Monay's was a pretty easy clue. I got Saturday Night live right away.

The producers are going to have to flat out put a picture of Donny Osmond to give these people a clue, aren't they? Now he is related to Jim Carey? Don't get me wrong, I love Chris and want him to win but they are so far off guessing. Even when they were discussing residencies in Vegas, they still did not bring up his name.

It's right in their faces and they got nothing lol

Unfortunately, she was the only one old enough to get any Jimmy Carter clues. I’m sure she was more familiar with Donny than the rest of them, too, but not enough to get the clues. Haha.

I can’t believe how many people this season have gone home because they guessed wrong when they were actually right about who someone else was. Crazy!
Gabriel is smart and good at figuring out the clues. That’s funny that he was so sure JR’s relative was an athlete in spite of evidence to the contrary. It’s a good thing he pulled that clue.
I didn’t understand their logic in the interrogation activity. It seems to me that someone’s pulse rate would go up if they were lying, but they seemed to think it meant they were telling the truth.

Yep, this is how lie detectors work Also though, an actual lie detector test only asks you yes or no questions, so this one was a little sus anyway. I do think some of these people are kind of dingalings. I have to say, I don't think Monay's relative is famous enough for people to know him. I wonder if the others would even know who he is. Maybe Gabriel would know him. Maybe. I don't even remember him on SNL - he was on nearly 20 years ago, so none of these people would have seen it - and I don't watch Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I agree about Monay’s relative. I know his name, and I recognize his face, but I’m not familiar enough with him to put the two together, and I wouldn’t be able to tell you what he’s done without googling it. And I’m more in the demographic to know him from SNL than the people on the show are.

So hard to believe these CHILDREN don't recognize Chris. He looks exactly like his father at that age. But I guess if they have never heard of Donny, they can't be expected to make the connection. God, I feel so old.

^ I agree! It's so funny to me to hear them guessing Elton John, and Elvis, even while knowing he's from Utah, relative was a teen idol, and having the colored coat clue! Then when Gabriel was told about the coat, and was on the right track, they laughed at him and shut him down completely. I understood why Chris showed Karsyn the clue he had about Gabriel, in the likely event she was going home so he could get her opinion, but he PROMISED Gabriel he wouldn't share. So that didn't sit well, and from the previews, he gets exposed and Gabriel is mad. JR cracks me up with his "100%" guesses that are all completely wrong. They'd be smart to put him in the bottom as guesser, since he's so clueless. I think they know his relative and Karsyn's with certainty, but Monay, Gabriel and Chris's relatives are the tricky ones for them. How many more episodes, does anyone know?

Hugo deserved to go home. In what world was very British Elton John born in Ogden, Utah? So we have another person going home by making a dumb guess about Chris when they actually know someone else’s identity.
I don’t get the drum clue for Gabriel’s relative. Can someone explain it to me?
It was interesting to see how much the other houseguests like Hugo. He is the only one so far who has gotten hugs as he left.

This episode just cracked me up with the guessing of Elton John as Chris’ relative And Gabriel’s face when the others told him they’d figured it out lol - Elton John, colored coat, and Utah! Gabriel was like whaaaaattt?? He seemed to be the only one who realized there’s no way those things go together. I was surprised that Gabriel’s baby-baby-baby-baby-baby-baby etc, clue didn’t immediately click with these people. I’m enjoying this show way more than I thought I would. I didn’t watch the first season of this show, but I might go back and watch it eventually.

Thanks, Critical! Given all the other current and popular things Gabriel’s relative has been involved with, that seems like a rather obscure thing to focus on. Or is it something the houseguests would know, and I’m just old and not cool? LOL

I think that was mostly due to him telling them his Grandpa was in hospice I think it's going to come down to Chris, Monay and Gabriel. They just can't figure each other out. Monay could probably figure out Gabriel if given the chance. I get Gabriel being mad in showing Karsyn the clue but as far as Chris knew she was going home. Gabriel went against Chris in that way didn't he? Or was it the rest of the house? But also Gabriel didn't push them to guess Karsyn. Oh well.

Gabriel knew that Hugo was going to guess Chris, and he still voted for him to be the guesser, so he wasn’t being loyal to Chris, either. Didn’t he make a comment in a confessional about how it would be good if Chris left, because that way, Gabriel’s clue would be out of the game?

Elton John? Gabriel came the closest when he brought up Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, but did he really think it was Joseph from the bible? I did love how everyone was so sure it was Elton John that they were able to brush off the born in Ogden Utah clue.
I think it will be Monay, Gabriel and Chris myself. I know who Chris' relative is, I am pretty sure about Gabriel after the clue but only have a small idea on Monay.

Yeah. Monay’s and Gabriel’s are hard. I’ve read the spoilers, so I know, but I wouldn’t have gotten them on my own. Maybe that clue would have given me Gabriel’s, but I would never have gotten Monay’s.

Elton John was born in Utah and Billy Idol was a teen idol Who are these people!? Hugo thinks he's a genius because he came up with Elton John. I'm dying. Watching them run around the house giggling about how smart they are about the Elton John thing...I mean, WTF? Did none of them see Rocketman? I don't expect them to know Donny Osmond, but I'd expect them to know more about Elton John. Oh, and when Gabriel brings up Joseph's coat of many colors, Monay tells him he's reaching SO SO stupid. I hope they watch this back and are SO embarrassed at how clueless and smug they were.
I'm not surprised no one has guessed Gabriel's relative. He looks nothing like his celebrity relative, IMO. At least not like some other participants on this show have. I think people would know who he is and they'd know who JP's relative is.
Anyone else find this year's group less likeable than last season? Or maybe just less fun.

I think they’re all pretty likable, except for Shayne. I was so happy to see her go. Next week looks interesting, if the preview is correct and Chris and Gabriel have a falling out. Gabriel and Chris have played a great game, but I won’t be surprised if Monay sneaks in and wins the whole thing.
